Photos and Description of this Camaiore holiday villa 10 minutes from the nearest beaches, freshly restored, new bathrooms and garden!

La Vallina is a quiet house, fresh in the summer time because hidden in the olive trees and on the first hills, so that it is always ventilated. It is a typical Tuscany 'rustique house' with antique furniture, fire-place, wood ceilings and floors in 'cotto'. This winter 2009 the bath rooms have been renewed and the garden has been transformed, it is now bigger and with more privacy. Also perfect noise insulating works have been achieved. The house has a 'romantic atmosphere'! In the evening, from the terrace, you can see the sunset on the sea from Livorno to La Spezia. You can have dinner under the Pergola on a nice marble table. The mountains of Apuan Alps are just behind. The area is worldwide famous for cultural interest, arts, history, delicious food and wines, and the beautiful and comfortable beaches of the Versilia. There are many day-trips possibilities and golf courses.

The house is in a central position, between the sea resorts (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi), the Apuan Alps and many beautiful and historical cities like Lucca, Pisa (the famous tower), Pietrasanta (the meeting place of the most famous sculptors) or Carrara (white marble quarries). In a day-trip you can easily reach other famous destinations like Firenze, Siena, San Gemignano or Portovenere and the '5 Terre' in Liguria. The traditional food and wines are excellent and you can find as many restaurants as you like.

Notes: The Vallina used to be a very old country house and was restored 20 years ago. It is comfortable and simple and it has maintained its rustique style. At the ground floor there is living-room, the kitchen, the terrace and the garden. At the first floor, one double bedroom and a complete bathroom with shower. At the second floor, one double bedroom, a triple bedroom and a complete bathroom with shower. The other half of the house is from the same owner and has its own garden and parking. The property is quite isolated but 5 minutes driving or walking to the nearest centre.

Ski: In the winter, you can drive (in 1,30 hour) to the nice ski resort of Abetone.

Golf: In the area, playing golf is having a big success. At 10 min. from the house, you find the 5 holes practice camp (soon 9 holes) of 'Alisei' and the 18 holes of the Versilia in Forte dei Marmi. At 30, 50 or 80 km, you find all the golf courses you like: Tirrenia (Pisa), Montecatini, Prato, Firenze, Punta Ala, Castelfalfi and Lerici.

Mittelmäßiges Haus mit italienischen Flair

Landschaft und Umgebung wunderbar, wenn man sich dem italienischen Flair anpasst. Das Haus ist im toskanischen Stil, hat jedoch nicht dem gewünschten Anspruch entsprochen. Urlaub mit 2 jungen Familien (gesamt 3 Kinder). Das Haus ist sehr "rustikal" ausgestattet und extrem hellhörig. Die sanitären Anlagen entsprechen nicht dem Standard welchen wir für normal erwartet haben (Wasserdruck bei Benutzung von 2 Duschen gleich 0, Dusche im DG nur 1,60 Raumhöhe...).
Im großen und ganzen waren wir denoch zufrieden, nur das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss ist wohl in Italien etwas anders als in Deutschland.

Um der Nachfrage mehrerer Familien gerecht zu werden, werden wir das Haus fuer die kommende Saison isolieren, ohne die toskanische Struktur zu veraendern. Trotz der allgemeinen Wasserknappheit waehrend der Sommermonate in der Toskana bietet unsere Anlage bei aufmerksamer Anwendung reichlich Wasser fuer Mensch und Garten. Die Versilia ist die exclusivste und attraktivste Region in der Toskana.
