Moulin Saint-Michel, a renovated olive-mill from the 19th century, is situated between imposing, overhanging rocks and the river Ouvèze only 1.5 kilometres away from the village Entrechaux. The house is furnished with all conveniences, 5 antique furnished bedrooms, living-room (50 sq. m) with fireplace, bar-room (35 sq. m), fitted modern kitchen, balcony with a view of the river Ouvèze. A vast meadow with trees belongs to the 40 000 sq. m property. The 150 m entrance holds 4 – 6 cars.

The department Vaucluse: The department Vaucluse is one of the most beautiful, historically richest an cultural most active departments of France. One says in the Vaucluse beats the heart of Provence. An area sculptured by mountains (Mont Ventoux 1912 m) Dentelles de Montmirail, Montagne de Luberon) with vast planes and green hills. Wineries, evergreen oaks and pines, flowering fruit trees lend the landscape its character and invite you to walk, to bike, to ride or just to relax. Hills and mountains cover more than the half area of the department.

Culture/sports: Considered as a major event and a “must” on the French theatrical calendar, the “Avignon Festival” (every year in July) attracts the attention of professionals and amateurs from all over the world. Also the roman theatres in Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine invite you to their open-air festivals. There’s a lot to discover in the Provence like castles, picturesque villages, caves and canyons, archaeological finds of high importance. The rocks of the „Dentelles de Montmirail“ are prepared for climbing.

Noch schöner als im Inserat!

Wir haben jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal unseren Sommerurlaub verbracht und sind superbegeistert. Das Haus ist wunderschön, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt, blitzsauber und bietet alles was man braucht (perfekte Küche!!!). Die Lage am Fluss ist idyllisch und ruhig. Die Kinder nutzen den Fluss zum Spielen und Schwimmen und wir entspannen uns in unseren Liegestühlen und geniessen. Die Vermieter sind vorbildlich, haben auf jede Frage eine Antwort und kümmern sich perfekt. Die wunderschönen Dörfer rundum sind noch wenig touristisch und landestypisch, Ausflüge nach Avingnon, Orange und Carpentras sind kulturell interessant und bieten gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit weiterempfehlen und werden sicher nochmal wiederkommen. A bientot!

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen sehr genossen.
Das Haus, der riesige Garten, die Lage am Fluss sind einzigartig. Die freundlichen Vermieter machen den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier in Moulin St. Michel und haben bereits wieder gebucht. Es gibt keinen schöneren Ort um mit netten Menschen bei netten Menschen zu entspannen. Egal ob man es sportlich angeht oder eher Land, Leute,Wein und Essen genießen will, es ist einfach taumhaft hier. Noch nie haben wir ein schöneres Ferienhaus bewohnt. Hier würde man gerne immer wohnen!

Die wunderbare Lage, die liebevoll eingerichteten Räume und Sauberkeit des Moulin, die Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer, die paradisische, kontrastreiche Umgebung, die farbigen, lebhaften Märkte in den Dörfern und die herrlichen Restaurants verlocken jedes Jahr von Neuem. Wir kommen wieder zum Wandern, Reiten, Baden und Schlemmen !

Das milde Klima und die grosszügigen Räumlichkeiten laden zum Verweilen ein.
Schon beim ersten Erwachen ist Ruhe und Entspannung spürbar. Das Moulin Saint Michel wirkt auf mich wie ein "Kraftort", auch meine Freunde bestätigen das immer wieder. Als Therapeutin geniesse ich hier den Austausch unter Kolleginnen oder auch alleine in der Natur und am Fluss zum Verarbeiten von Eindrücken und Konflikten aus meiner Praxis.
Herzlichen Dank dem Vermieterpaar für die tolle Gastfreundschaft.
