4BR 2 1/2 Bath RM. Magnificent handcrafted home (2800 square feet) done in all wood (14 different kinds of wood), has hand cut tiles throughout, bathrooms with huge sunken tub and garden in large bathroom. Home is on a quiet cul-de-sac very private, 500 feet above sea level, approximately 4 minute drive to beach. There are beautiful waterfalls on both sides of the house, , Perfect place to spend the holidays. Shopping, great restaurants and all water sports. Close to Santa Barbara (28 miles) and Ojai. Drop dead gorgeous house for holidays. Built with an artist working with us for all details.

Ponds with waterfalls on both sides of house. Washer/dryer. Kitchen has pots, pans, dishes. Lush Landscape. Balcony surrounds both floors with sky chairs. BR B Activities: /B BR Close to Ventura Harbor, Boating Sailing and other Water Sports. Good surfing spots, not crowded. Bicycle and Hiking Trails close by. House has an 'Organic' feel to it Close enough to all activities in Los Angeles with out the Los Angeles hassles. Both Santa Barbara and Ojai are within 30 min drive with great art draws.

Great home with beautiful view!

I've rented four homes over the past three years for my group and this home was the most authentic and glorious. The home was clean, although the homeowners live there full time (except when renting it out) so there are more 'things' lying around than most other homes we've stayed at. The location is perfect up on the hill overlooking the ocean and beaches. There are parks just a short walk (if you don't mind the hill) to play with kids or you're only a short drive <5 min from the beaches, shopping and food. One aspect that is lacking is there is no wireless internet access (although we used the neighbors WiFi from the balcony;-). I would reccomend the home to anyone that is looking for a wonderful home to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sceney and/or the home.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

we had a great time here wouldn't have changed a thing. we had 10 in our party and it was more than enough for all of us. we could have slept 1 more couple if needed.
