Photos and Description of this Charlottesville holiday cottage Secluded, Romantic Fully Equipped Cottage for Two

Romantic, secluded fully equipped cottage for two in the Blue Ridge Mountains, 18 mi NW of Charlottesville, on Brokenback Mountain and near to Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Trail; just 80 miles from Washington DC. Just a short drive to Charlottesville; home of 'Monticello' and the University of Virginia. Located on over 200 acres, with 2 hiking trails on the property. The Cottage has a gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, 2 person Jacuzzi tub, and shower. No TV or telephone, but each has a stereo with CD's and tapes, and lots of books, board games, cards, etc. Includes covered porch and open deck, with BBQ grill. There is also a hammock under the trees to relax in. Sorry, no children, pets, or smoking in cottage. Access to swimming pool in summer. Relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the quiet of our mountain valley.

Living room has hardwood floors, sofa and chairs; lots of books, CD's and tapes, and board games and cards. Secluded and very private.

Activities: : Swimming pool on property in season; 2 hiking trails on property. Area: Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, very close to the Skyline Drive. 18 mi NW of Charlottesville, Va. which is home to Monticello and the University of Virginia. Also close to Montpelier and Ash Lawn, both homes of former Presidents. 90 miles from Washington, DC and about 65 miles from Richmond, Va.

We had the best time at this cottage! Even though the square footage seemed tiny while we were reading the ad, upon arrival, the cottage seemed huge because of the open ceilings and the beauty of the decorating. Everything that anyone could possibly need was supplied, yet the cottage didn't seem cluttered in any way. The view from the numerous windows was outstanding and the lack of TV was an extra special bonus! We plan on returning as often as our schedules allow.
