A French Chateau (B&B) situated in a romantic private park.
The Château Bellevue is near Bordeaux and today run as B&B. It was constructed in 1878 by an architect from the school of the famous Violet le Duc. It was sympathetically renovated with modern additional features including elegant bathrooms and under floor heating. The interior is decorated with modern paintings by the owner. It is warm in winter and cool and airy in summer. There are 6 luxurious guest rooms. The ground and first floor comprise beautifully furnished spacious reception rooms with original fireplaces, marble and wood floors and elegant chandeliers. Presently arranged as dining room, salon and ballroom, they all have wonderful views over vineyards and the Gironde River. All views from the Château, terrace and gardens will leave a truly unforgettable impression. The Château looks towards the region of the Medoc, accessible by regular ferry services. No pool, but once across the river, miles of sandy beaches and the famous chateaux of the Medoc are within easy reach.

The Château Bellevue is a most unique location. Ideal for romantic weekends, honeymooners and weddings. The totally private park is surrounded by a natural stone wall and provides complete privacy. The Château is situated on a small hill. The view is unrestricted to all directions, to the south you can see Bordeaux on the horizon and in the west you will find the Medoc and the Atlantic sea. The first French vineyard is said to be in Plassac, founded by the Romans about 2000 years ago. The house wine is the Bordeaux 'Château Bellevue – Premières Côtes de Blaye'.
