There is a 180 degree view of Lake Erie from a wrap around deck or through four French doors from the second floor living area. Awesome views no matter what Mother Nature may bring. Coastal decor in every room provides additional enjoyment of this lake house. You're not going to believe you are in Ohio! We take great pride with high standards in the maintenance and cleanliness of this vacation rental. Linen is always fresh and the home is always clean top to bottom. Many attractions and things to do in the area. Major golf courses are nearby and open year around.

  • Additional guests are charged $50.00 for weekly stays. For nightly stays, additional guests are charged $12.50 per night.

    Security Fee: $200 for a weeks stay and $100 for a weekend stay which is refundable if house is kept in arrival condition

    Cancellations and Refunds:
    If for any reason the date is cancelled by the tenant the deposit will be refunded if the unit is re-rented for the period reserved.

    Deposits:
    Half due to secure reservations, balance due two weeks prior to stay.

A Very Special Getaway

I can't imagine it would be easy to share your special home with complete strangers, but I certainly appreciate that you do. What a wonderful opportunity to see the lake in a different mood each and every day, to view a full moon over the lake and for my daughter to see her first bald eagle in the wild (the way they should be seen)!

Drive For Miles To Find A Good Beach

Last July my Daughter, Son-in-law, 3 Grandchildren, my Husband and I stayed at this Beautiful House. We had a wonderful time but many complaints. The beach had many dead fish floating around plus lots of dog-doo in the sand. Our biggest complaint was we did not receive all of our security deposit back they kept $25.00 dollars. Here was there reason--The cleaning company stayed an extra hour due to smudges on the windows,fly removal in bedroom downstairs and spraying the outside of house due to a hugh number of flys inside and out. We kept a very clean house I vacuum the house before we left,washed the floor, washed all the towels and sheets--no I didn't clean the windows because I didn't think they were that bad or I would have cleaned them. The FLYS came in the house the minute you opened the door it was very annoying and they were hard to get rid of. Everyday we had to drive for miles to find a nice beach so we could go swimming plus there was a charge for parking and we always had to take two cars. If the beach by the house was cleaned up it would have been alot easier especially with 3 Grandchildren. Yes it is a BEAUTIFUL HOUSE with a BEAUTIFUL VIEW but if you have small children think twice before you rent it. Enjoy the warm sun shining into the house and the Breathtaking Views of Lake Erie. Have a nice vacation.
Owner's Response: This is the first we have heard of this type of feedback, in fact, your daughter wrote in our guest book that you had a wonderful time and mentioned, “We were so trilled with everything, the house, the view of the lake and the comforts of home”. The beach in walking distance is a private beach for the residence. Although there is seasonal maintenance, there may have been some violators during the time of your stay and occasionally if floating fish are caught with northeast winds they are beached, same as other locations. We currently have another beach in walking distance that could also be enjoyed. For those who enjoy larger beaches, the public beach, Nickel Plate, is an 8 minute drive into town, just 3.5 miles away. Directions are posted in the house for this and many other nearby attractions.

We want to make sure our guests are comfortable and have stated in our contract we need to be contacted promptly regarding any problems or damages. If we were called, we could have rectified the fly invasion before they got out of hand. Something was picked up with the outdoor dustpan that was left right outside the door. The residue left in the pan started to decay. This is what caused the fly outbreak, both in and outside the house, creating additional cleaning time which was deducted from the deposit. A prompt call could have eliminated this charge.

The Lake House welcomes families and has no intention of causing any discomfort or inconvenience no manner what age.
