It’s also conveniently located near great restaurants, shops, activities, attractions, and nightlife. An impeccably maintained municipal park is also just a few short blocks away, where you can enjoy a stroll, take a jog or bike ride, learn about the local habitat, or just sit on the pier and enjoy the soothing bay breezes. Relax! Four can sleep comfortably here. There is one bedroom, which contains a queen sized bed, and the sofa also pulls out into a queen sized bed.

Upgrades include: colorful décor and new furniture, inspired by the hues and mood of the Caribbean, new carpet/flooring, updated bathroom, and new countertops. 1 BR 1 BA Amenities: Onsite pool with lifeguard, central air, dishwasher, microwave, 2 color TVs (with cable), 2 DVD players, local telephone service, washer/dryer, full kitchen, cooking utensils, free parking, garbage disposal, coffee maker, toaster. A small selection of books and videos are also available for your use and enjoyment. We also have a small assortment of pool and beach toys for the little ones to borrow.

This was our first visit to O.C. We had a great time and beautiful weather. The condo was spacious, with all the conviences of home, full size kitchen if you need it and a nice deck and patio. The pool was closed for this time of the year but we were only a block from the beach. This location is in the middle of everything, far enough from downtown and the boardwalk but close enough to get there. We did not use the $2 bus, but the bus stop was right at the corner. The supermarket was down the street. And oh so many restaurants and eateries to chose from. The boardwalk is beautiful and reminds of us of O.C. in N.J.
You are within walking distance of McDonalds and Hooters and Dumser's Ice Cream.
Our favorite nice restaurant was Fresco's (make reservation), Tequila Mockingbird for Mexican and Green Turtle for bar/grill food. 30 minute drive to Rehobeth for shopping and no taxes! My husband walked the community in the morning and found everybody friendly. We will certainly keep this is mind for our next visit.

Great Location in Ocean City, MD

I rented a unit in Jockey Beach from during peak travel season in the summer of 2009. I was thrilled to have found an available condo and, at the point of booking, was willing to compromise on many different levels of quality if necessary to find a place to stay. Happily, such compromises were not necessary. The residence has many features and services that are phenomenal including a short walk (5 mins) to the beach (just watch out of the cadillac taxis whilst crossing Coastal Highway..heheh). Overall, the stay was wonderful. The unit was clean, spacious enough for 2-3 people (4 may be a little crowded), and it is very close to the bus to downtown (which runs 24/7), restaurants, markets, the beach, and the rental agency.

The laundry machines were definitely a plus as was the dishwasher; however the heated drying didn't work and could be updated. I would have also liked having the security of being able to lock the deadbolt on the door when going out (the key doesn't fit that lock).

Overall, this residence is well worth a close look and a rental.

A few words on local attractions: Shenanigans on the Boardwalk is wonderful. Rehoboth Beach is also a great place for a day trip (30 mins N on Coastal Highway/US1). I wasn't crazy about Phillips Seafood Buffet (the one toward Bethany Beach) nor Liquid Assets (a little too disorganized for a relaxing glass of wine).

The unit looked as good as the advertisment picture. It was clean and comfortable. The location was great for accessing Ocean Highway. Pool and beach was close by.
Rental rate was reasonable.

The description of this condo is right on the money! The property was clean, well decorated, and well maintained. The owners are very nice and so were the reps at Long & Foster. The location of this condo is perfect. You are far enough away from all of the kids partying. We were there while it was "Senior Week" and we never would've known it. But, you are close enough to Hooters! Other fun bars aren't very far - Green Turtle, Bull on the Beach (great bartenders!) and Macky's. This condo's pictures are VERY true and not misleading. Don't worry about coming here and walking into "The Griswald's" vacation - it just simply won't happen. And don't worry about the pull out couch - it is very comfortable. The pool is great except there isn't a diving board. You are very close to the beach, too. The grocery store is right around the corner. And, the nearest beer run is only to the 7-11 a few blocks down. Best thing about the place is it's so affordable! It's nearly impossible to find a good place to stay at the beach with reasonable rates anymore. You'll love it here!
