The house has sufficient space for up-to 6 people. But cozy, is the house also for two people. The living room is connected with the dining room. Through a large sectional glass door, the library is separated from the living room. All rooms lead to the terrace through French-style glass doors. The large open fireplace, oak beam ceilings, and its red-tiled stone floor, are typical of Perigord houses. In the summer, naturally, life will revolve around the outside, on the large sunny terrace or in the shade of the oak park. Garden furniture is amply available. The country-style kitchen is stocked with all that ambitious hobby cooks need. In the side-wing of the house lies a large master bedroom, with a covered four-post canopy bed and its own bathroom. In the romantic bed of the small bedroom, situated across from the master suite. In the upper floor lie two bedrooms with a French-style bed in each one. Linens for the beds, tablecloths, and bath towels are provided.

There, where the black Perigord and purple-coloured Perigord meet, at the southern-cliff above the village and the Dordogne, about 10 miles from Bergerac, in an 1.4 acres large natural park property, lies the Perigord-style country-house. The approach is achieved over a small public road that leads to the property-line. Then a private path leads directly to the house. Additionally, from below its property line, a footpath leads into the village that has a bakery, a restaurant, a bar, and a post office. Within a distance of about 2.5 miles, lies a swimming lake, that is also appropriate for little kids to plunch in to. Through-out the entire year, golfing is possible on the 7 regional golf areas (3 x 9 holes and 4 x 18 holes). These places are reachable within 10 minutes to a maximum of 50 minutes. Several horse stables in the area offer horseback riding trips, as well as pony rides for kids. Bicycles can be rented in the next larger town.

Ein idealer Ort, um Ruhe zu genießen und um Kraft zu tanken. Dazu gehören die Märkte in der Umgebung, die Spaziergänge in der Natur und die Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region. Das Haus mit seiner perfekt eingerichteten Küche bietet alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht.

Landleben I'm Perigord und dann noch in diesem wunderschönen Haus - einfach Spitze. . Wir haben die persönliche Atmosphäre sehr genossen, Wandern, Einkaufen auf den Märkten und mit einem guten Glas Rotwein vor dem Kamin. Das war Erholung und leben wie Gott in Frankreich ...

Das schöne Landhaus besticht durch die abgeschiedene, ruhige Lage, reichlich Platz, innen wie außen, die unvergleichlich schöne Terasse mit Holzmöbeln und die gute Ausstattung. Das Inserat verspricht demnach nicht zu viel. Trotz der großzügigen Räumlichkeiten haben wir alles tadellos sauber und gepflegt angetroffen. Durch angesammelte Prospekte, Landkarten und einen Ordner der Inhaberin wird man über alles Wissenswerte im Haus und Umgebung sehr gut informiert. Für eine ruhige, erholsame Woche im Dordognetal ist dieses Feriendomizil jederzeit weiterzuempfehlen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist eine Kanutour in der nur knietiefen Dordogne, die Besichtigung der schönen Städtchen entlang des Flusslaufes und einen Besuch im nahegelegenen Chateau des Merles, in dem auch Gourmets auf ihre Kosten kommen.
