Marco Island is 1/2 hour from Naples, 1 hour from Ft-Myers. For private aircraft there is the Marco Island Airport offering both 100 LL, jet fuel and an instrument approach. Note: Major car rental agencies in Florida allow rentals from one Florida airport to be dropped-off at another Florida airport with no drop charge. If your family's best airfare is to Miami, for example, renting a car in Miami with a drop in Naples costs no more than the local rental fee.
