This one-of-a-kind retreat is situated on nine acres in the exclusive cosmopolitan town of Escazu outside of San Jose. As you pass through the entry gate of Robin's Nest, enjoy an ecological paradise that's just a short drive to fabulous restaurants, entertainment, shops, outdoor market and embassies from around the world. You feel connected and in total harmony with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but yet a short drive away to enjoy all great things Escazu and San Jose have to offer. At night, from the cottage terraces, gaze at an incomparable view... literally an ocean of lights as far as you can see of the capital city below. This specially designed guest house, immaculately clean, offers two bedrooms and two baths that can easily accommodate two couples, two families of four, or a group of friends.

In San Antonio de Escazu on the way to Tiquicia Restaurant (calle Naranjo) about 500 meters before the restaurant going West on the way up. The entrance gate is on the left with the name Robin's Nest on a plaque by the gate. Area: The property is located 25 minutes from Juan Santa Maria International airport. Downtown San Jose is only 15 minutes away. Day tours to numerous attractions are available with a day notice. Dinning, shopping, etc. is all available within 5 minutes of the facility. The Pacific Ocean with tropical beaches is only a two hour drive. Private hospitals, rent-a-car agencies, airline offices, banks, are also a short distance away. The American embassy and other embassies are also in the area.

  • A 50% deposit is required to hold a reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. We only accept visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed. . All applicable refunds will be made in a timely manner in the form that it was received. This is a non-refundable transaction. In the event of Cancellation, rental fees collected (minus $75.00) may be refunded ONLY if Landlord is able to rent said premises for equal or greater value of canceled period.
  • Monthly rates include up to eight (8) guest. Small pets may be allowed with prior approval. No smoking is allowed inside the cottage. Once a week house cleaning service is complimentary. Housekeepers live on the property 24/7.
