Our low priced holiday home is situated in the Hunsrueck. It is larger than a normal holiday home and offers everything you need to enjoy a restful holiday, featuring a 120 m² living space with 7 rooms, kitchen and bathroom; 3 bedrooms for a minimum of 6 people, 1 cot, playroom, living room, kitchen, dining-room, TV room, 1 bathroom (shower & toilet), 1 separate guest bathroom, 6 deck chairs, camping furniture, BBQ area, washing-machine and dryer. The town of Idar-Oberstein/Hunsrueck offers plenty of shopping facilities. Located in quiet surroundings right off the German Gemstone Route, in the middle of the beautiful Hunsrueck, near the rivers Nahe/Hunsrueck and Mosel. Nearby, there is an indoor riding facility available for those who enjoy riding. You can find gemstones and minerals at the stone pit Juchem in Niederwoerresbach/Hunsrueck. Because of allergies we don’t accept any pets. We are located near Idar Oberstein, Birkenfeld, Nahe, Hunsrueck, Hondsrug, Rijnland Palts.

Our beautiful town is situated between the Hunsrueck scenic road (B 327) and the river Nahe (Naheland). The neighbouring towns are Herrstein, Niederwoerresbach, Weiden, Kempfeld, Katzenloch, Sensweiler, Fischbach, Herborn, Veitsrodt, Vollmersbach, Bruchweiler, Rhaunen, Bundenbach and Kirschweiler. Our holiday home (Vakantiehuis) welcomes all visitors of the region. The stone pit Juchem (for those who collect minerals) is only 6 km away and makes it very attractive for mineral experts to stay at our oversized holiday home (Vakantiewoning). Moerschied is located in the district of Birkenfeld/Hunsrueck and belongs to the community of Herrstein/Hunsrueck. Our holiday home is easy to reach by car taking the A 61 and B 327.

Indoor riding facility in Moerschieder
You will find perfect riding conditions. The indoor riding facility in Moerschieder is only 100 m away from our holiday home Schneider (Vakantiewoning) where our riding enthusiastic guests get their money worth. On the premises of the horse farm the Karl-May Festival takes place every year, which has achieved international credit. We always welcome our international visitors of the Karl-May Festival in Mörschied to our holiday home (Vakatiehaus)!
Fishing: choice between Nahe, Moselle or Rhine
The fishermen among our guests may choose whether they want to practice their activity at the Nahe, Moselle or Rhine. In the immediate vicinity there are several smaller waters. The Moerschied community offers a pond where you can catch fresh trout every day!
Hiking and biking until Bad Kreuznach!
Our Region (from Hunsrueck to Idar-Oberstein until Bad Kreuznach) has signalised plenty of hiking and biking trails for our ramblers and bikers. We offer you the latest hiking and biking maps at our holiday home (Vakantiehuisje). The longest trail takes you from Idar-Oberstein to Fischbach, from there to Kirn until Bad Kreuznach! The maps indicate hiking trails from Mörschied to Idar-Oberstein along the B 41 until the Saarland, e.g. from St. Wendel to Saarbruecken.

Skiing Information:
The Erbeskopf/Hunsrueck (at approx. 800 m altitude) and the Idarkopf/Stipshausen offers excellent winter sports possibilities (snow guns are available). Our ample, comfortable holiday home (7 rooms, kitchen and bathroom) is an ideal alternative especially in winter for those who love skiing or tobogganing. It’s the perfect place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a relaxed atmosphere.
Golf Information:
You will find an excellent golf course in Kirschweiler. The Kirschweiler golf course in only 5 minutes away from our holiday home (Vakantiehuis) and is easy to access by car through Herborn and Idar-Oberstein. There are two exquisite restaurants in Kirschweiler, the Edelsteinklause and the Kirschweilerbrücke.
