Great place to stay for two families

We had two families with 4 children younger than 9. Everyone had a great time, with the spacious cabin, the fabulous kitchen, the great sun room, the play yard, the creek out back, the loft area with the game room, and the four good sized bedrooms, two which were masters. It was located close to many activities and things to do. I'd definitely stay there again! It was clean, and was convenient with a washer a dryer.
I would highly recommend this property, as it was easy to get to, well-maintained, and very modern. Being city folks, we weren't used to the noises made by wood houses, but even during some severe storms, the power stayed on, and we felt very secure.
The restaurants in Blue Ridge, such as the Blue Ridge BBQ, were great. We were able to grocery shop fairly close by, and able to fish, go to the park, would have boated if the weather had been warmer, and went to the nearby dam. We were within an hour of many other things to do, such as Helen, Ga, and Franklin, NC. We hiked to Duke Creek Falls in the Chattanooga National Forest, and could have gone horseback riding too. We gem mined in Franklin, and recommend the Rose Creek mine. A GPS is nice to help navigate some of the smaller roads to get to places.
The cabin has wi-fi, and decent AT&T cell service (though don't tell my job!) It didn't have good Sprint cell service. Incoming calls to the cabin are fine, and the abundant TVs and DVDs and games and the pool table kept the kids occupied on bad weather days, or before we were ready to get moving in the morning.
The only thing I might recommend is that owners leave of map of where they mean about where to fish on the property. The written explanation was somewhat confusing, and since we didn't want to trespass on the other properties, we weren't exactly sure how far we could go. We are rather visual!
All in all, this was a great vacation, made great by a fantastic place to stay.
