Glen Lake is the fifth most beautiful lake in the world according to National Geographic, and this cottage is on that sandy shore. The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, a Chippawa legend of the mother Bear's devotion to her cubs, is across the street. Little Bear Lodge is located in the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore among private homes and cottages with a wooded lot on one side for privacy. Swim in crystal clear water or climb the sand dunes. Relax and enjoy the beauty of the area in a pine-paneled cottage of the '50s with an updated kitchen and new bathroom, new living room furniture, new queen and double bed springs and mattresses. Enjoy the wild flowers and the freshness of June, the wonderful summer days of July and August, usually warm September, and magnificent color of October. A romantic hideaway. Glen Arbor has a large community of artists. Their work, and other unique artists' treasures, is sold in their studios and Glen Arbor shops.

Glen Lake Art Fair (July 15,2009): The Glen Lake Art Fair is the third Wednesday in July in Glen Arbor with more than 95 artists participating. Fireplace, microwave, charcoal grill, rowboat, picnic table, fire pit, new living room furniture, new queen and double bed, new blankets, updated bath and tile shower, TV/DVD/VCR Linens and towels not furnished. No pets. Maximum 6 people.

We would recommend this rental to everyone. Had a great time, beautiful location and area. Perfect for young or old and vistit the Sleep Bear Dunes or just relaxing.
