Beautiful one bedroom one bath cabin & one bedroom one bath cottage on 20 acres nestled between 10 & 11 thousand foot mountain ranges with stunning views from every room. Cabin has all the modern conveniences - washer/dryer, fireplace, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen, & satellite. Abundant wild life is perfect for nature lovers. For the fly fisherman, the #1 rated blue ribbon trout fishing river, the Madison, is only 1 mile down the road, or if you prefer lakes take your pick between 6 different ones, ranging from 2 to 10 miles away, and they all come equipped with breath taking scenery. There are also numerous hiking, biking, & horse trails within a short walk or drive from the cabin. Did we mention that in only 20 minutes you can be in Yellowstone National Park? It is definitely a must see. For the venturesome, the area has excellent white water rafting trips, each one suited for your experience (or lack of) level. So come on out and create your own adventures, Montana is waiting.

Beautiful cabin-great views

We just got home from Montana. We stayed in the cabin for 7 nights - it was perfect. Yeah, we drove a lot, but found anywhere you stay you will drive if you want to see everything. It is beautiful, with great views of the mountains. We have two teenage girls and they loved it too. We were approx 30 minutes from Yellowstone, which was good for us. When we left the park this was the perfect place to return too. No tourists, and very quiet. We felt it was perfect and we loved the area. We would highly recommend this.

We came from France and stayed 8 days in Alan's cabin with our 2 kids who loved the separate cottage. It was just GREAT. The cabin is very comfortable and had all we could need, in brand new condition. The place was really fantastic and beyond our expectations. The view is breathtaking, a sort of live IMAX cinema with a permanent show of wild animals (we saw squirrels, deer, pronghorns, bald eagles...), and the place is definitely very quiet. The only people we met were the neighbors (1 mile away ?), Rocky and his family, wo are wonderful people and now, dare I say, great friends of ours.
If and when we come back to Montana, we will definitely call again. Highly recommended !

Escape the tourist crowds

It was great after flocking with tourists at Yellowstone and the tourist town of West Yellowstone, to get away from everyone! You do need to be prepared to do a bit of driving including a short stretch of dirt road. The cabin was modern and comfortable with a nice kitchen that was easy to cook in and easy to clean. We saw Pronghorn Antelope, Trumpeter Swans, Western Bluebirds and Prairie Dogs to add to the list of wildlife we saw in the Park. I have never seen so many stars at night, it was incredible!! The caretaker lives nearby and was very helpful but not intrusive.

My husband and I found the cabin beautiful. Stocked with all the comforts of home. The view was breath taking. It was the most quiet vacations we haver ever had. You go outside and hear nothing. Very peaceful.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was even better than the pictures and the caretakers are the best and most helpful people. There is plenty to see and do and we would definately refer our family and friends to stay here. It totally exceded our expectations.
