The 'Desert Retreat' Bungalow' is lovely and centrally located in the Sam Hughes Historical Neighborhood. Step in your front door and find yourself in a charming home built in the early 50's with beautiful hard wood floors & old world charm. Tastefully decorated with antiques, ethnic & contemporary furnishings. Step out your back door and find yourself in a lush beautiful shared garden with rich green grass, mature trees, colorfully scented flowers and flowing fountain. Listen to the birds sing and relax in your own little world separate from the city that surrounds you. Not exactly what you'd expect in the middle of the desert thus the name 'Desert Retreat'. This yard is shared with the 'Desert Retreat Guesthouse', a 2 bedroom 1 bath that is equally as charming and also for rent. Please inquire! Just a short stroll to restaurants, markets, University of Arizona, shopping, entertainment, parks and public transportation.

  • 4 Night Minimum. Based on Occupancy of 4 Persons. DSL &/or computer are available for an additional charge. Rates are in $US and subject to change without notice
    Deposits
    A $150.00 Cleaning Deposit is required at time of arrival (in the form of cash or money order only). Any & all loss or damage done to property or it's contents during your stay will automatically be charged to your credit card on file. Any replacements or repairs will be handled Only by management. Please report breakage or loss as it happens so that we might take care of it immediately for your comfort & convenience.
    Refunds
    Cancellation Policy: Prior to 60 days - 100% refund. 30-60 days-100% less a $100.00 processing fee. Within 30 days of your stay- you will be responsible for any loss in revenues for the period you have reserved.Gem & Mineral Show Guests:50% of rental due at time of reservation balance due 90 days prior to arrival. 100% Non-Refundable if Cancellation is 90 days or less prior to arrival
  • 50% Refundable if cancellation is more then 90 days out. 50% deposit due at time of booking. Any additional rental rates are required to be paid 30 days prior to arrival. Any & all loss or damage to this property or it's contents during your stay or any excessive expense incurred in cleaning this property, over your original deposit will automatically be charged to the credit card we have on file for you. Any replacements or repairs will be handled Only by management. Please report breakage or loss as it happens so that we might take care of it immediately for your comfort & convenience and that of others that may arrive after your departure. As in any hotel where you are a guest, we require a valid credit card at check-in that is kept on file in case of damage or loss expenses or if there is any additional cleaning costs above & beyond your $150.00 cleaning deposit.
