The ground floor of Pulgarcitos only is for rent, the top floor is not occupied. This ist a cosy, airy villa close to the beach and village. It is completely fenced in for undisturbed privacy. Professionally maintained pool and outside shower, garden with palm trees, hibiscus, lawn and flowers. There is a large covered and serveral uncovered terrace with two set of chairs and tables as well long chairs. The house comprises two twin-bedded rooms with fans and mosquito screens, a nice furnished living with Sat-TV, radio, CD and a very well equipped kitchen with stainless pots, many utensils, fridge, freezer, storage room, dishwasher, washing machine. There is a shower, a big garage, parking space. The house is spotless, has central heating, and is very well maintained by Alfkes, who live in the neighbourhood. Pla del Mar is the very best urbanisation of Moraira, near to the village and to the sea, with a guardian Manolo, watching for your safety.

Moraira gets prettier every year with picturesque fishermen’s cottages, surrounded by restaurants, bars, boutiques and supermarkets, but no skyscrapers. We have more but 300 sunny days and several small sandy beaches and nice sheltered rocks for swimming. Sailing lessons, windsurfing, diving - do whatever you like. You may drive to Gata, Denia, Javea, stroll in the streets of Calpe; Benidorm, Elche, visit animal parks, the castle Guadalest, go hiking in the mountains. Our urbanisation Pla del Mar is within walking distance of Moraira, the rocks and the blue flag beaches. Manolo gives assistance in urgent cases. The Urbanisation is illuminated at night times, and supplied with flowering shrubs along the roadside. Our mayor, Pepe Ciscar, serves well and we have no problems with water supply or rubbishcollection. There are two tennis courts available in Pla del Mar, there are more courts in 3 km distance and several golf courses in 6-12 km distance.

Alfkes

Herbert and Edda Alfke have been resident in Pla del Mar since 1971 and live only 10 houses away from Casa Pulgarcitos (= little thumb). They really take care of their clients and are able to give them details about the fish market, the restaurants, excursions to places of interest. The can tell you about the magnificent local festivals, nearly every month there is a special event. Edda tells you about the history of 'her' village, funny persons or customs, she is always helpful. Alfkes want their guests to spend a pleasant vacation in Moraira in comfort. If you need them, some of the doctors or dentists speak English. Please ask the Alfkes.
