La Quinquerlet is located 3 miles from Apt (Vaucluse, Provence) on the foothills of a mountain in a wooded glade. The house was built by hand over a period of 30 years. In 1976 there was a completely derelict Provencal farmhouse on the site, the best walls of which still serve as the walls of Le Quinquerlet. Here you will find a 300 year old oak tree, swimming pool, fish pond, stairs, terraces, roof terrace, small fountain, sculptures and a wild garden with many roses, Le Quinqerlet is ideal for groups of up to 15 people or for a holiday with several families. You can enjoy total peace and quiet and immerse yourself in nature. You can heat the house with the wood burning stove and hear the owls at night.

This small apartment for two people offers bathroom with shower and toilet and a kitchenette with 2 ring gas hob and fridge. The bedroom contains a double bed (140 x 200cm). There is an outside staircase to a large roof terrace, which all tenants have access to. In the entrance area there is a small breakfast table and a table and loungers in the area in front of the entrance. The swimming pool is only ten meters away.

Le Quinqerlet is quiet and in the shade during the summer, the nearest neighboring property (Vineyard) is approx. 300 meters away. The little town of Apt is 7 minutes away by car or 40 minutes walk. There you can find everything that you will require for daily life, 4 supermarkets, an organic supermarket and a retailer which is also open on Sunday morning. Aside from our private swimming pool there is another small swimming pond with green water, which is surrounded on three sides by rocks. In the surrounding area you can find many picturesque villages (Rousillon, Gordes) and Romanesque chapels and monasteries ( Senanque, Silvacane).

Schönes, fantasievolles Haus mit üppigem Garten in einem kleinen Waldstück mitten in den Weinbergen. Wir waren zehn Tage dort und haben jeden Tag genossen. Auf Wunsch bringt die Vermieterin jeden Morgen frische Croissants und Baguette (Merci!). Nach einem erfrischenden Sprung aus dem Bett in den Pool schmecken die besonders gut. Man muss nur aufpassen, dass sie einem nicht geklaut werden - von Paniol oder Fernandel, zwei frechen Katern, die einem jeden Morgen mit bettelndem Maunzen begrüßen. Die Wohnungen sind fantasie- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber, auch an der Küchenausstattung war nichts auszusetzen.
Nicht verpasst werden darf der bunte Samstagsmarkt in Apt und die Ockerfelsen bei Rustrel und Roussillon. Nach einem anstrengenden Tagesausflug kann man wunderbar im Liegestuhl auf der Dachterrasse entspannen. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
