The mini kitchen has everything you will need. The appliances include coffee maker, blender, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, cook top, dishes, cookware and utensils, as well as bottled water. Satellite TV (in Unit 310) TV with DVD player, with DVD's in #311.

Building is right on the white sand beach, and also offers 2 swimming pools, tennis court, parking, 24 hour lobby check-in available, pool side bar, full service restaurant for breakfast and lunch, with great prices, Beach towels are available upon request. There are beach chairs on your balcony and 2 boogie boards for your use in the closet. BR B Activities: /B BR Besides the Condo Building amenities, there is scuba diving, sailing, water sports of all kinds, bike moped rentals, fishing BR B Area: /B BR There are many side trips, lasting from a few hours to all day. Some of these include Chichen Itza, Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Xcaret, Isla Mujeres, and Telum. There are brochures all over town explaining all of these trips. City Busses will take you most anywhere on the island or in the city for 6.5 pesos (about 60 cents). They will come every few minutes on the Boulevard in front of the Condo. There is no need to rent a car here.

Driving can be hectic and everything is within walking distance or busses will take you into town.

We had a great time. The view is amazing and the location is great. The bus system is easy to use plus most things are within walking distance of the condo. We took advantage of the kitchenette & had breakfast while watching the sun rise. The staff was very helpful & friendly. We will definetly stay again. The information provided by Richard & Schella helped us plan some of our activities ahead of time.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We can't say enough wonderful things about our vacation in Cancun. The Girasol condo was in the best location we could have hoped for, far better than most on the peninsula, easy access to restaurants, shops and a very quick, cheap and easy bus ride to downtown; the room was great, the owners, Schella and Richard, were absolutely fantastic, they went above and beyond in providing us with information. Cancun is even more beautiful than we ever imagined. In the past we've never wanted to vacation in the same place twice - there are too many places to visit in the world and not enough time! But we were so overwhelmed by how great Cancun was that we're already planning our next trip there. The staff at Girasol was extremely helpful, the Mexican people overall were very friendly (just be prepared for pushy sales people at the flea market, and crude sexual comments and looks from men in general, even if you have your family with you and your husband is walking right next to you! Trust me, women don't have to be beautiful for this to occur).

The water is breathtaking, the beaches beautiful, the Mayan ruins amazing. Plan a few destination trips, but not too many. Give yourself plenty of time to just wander the shops, lay on the beach and play in the water. You won't be disappointed.
