The small village of Arona used to be the district town of a rural municipality. Nowadays it is the administrative authority for the tourist centres of 'Los Cristianos' and part of 'Playa de las Americas' as well. In the area wine, potatoes and vegetables are grown. In the village, you find a mixture of old and recent buildings. There are some popular restaurants in the village centre, mainly visited by local people, which we always consider an indication for good cooking. Many people come from far away to eat let's say kid or stewed rabbit in the restaurant 'Sindical'. On the plaza in front of the 'San Antonio Abad' church you can taste the Canarian atmosphere.
The 'Casa Eva' Finca lies just a few hundred metres from the centre of the village, but is very quiet located. You need no more than 5 minutes to reach it on foot. From the Finca, you have a splendid, unimaginable view of the sea and the green surroundings.
