Beautiful knotty pine interior with many modern amenities. Has a open floor plan with panoramic views of Bass Lake from your cottage just 50ft from the water. Patio with outdoor furniture and grill. Private dock w/fishing boat, swimming raft and a fire pit. Located on a private road far off the beaten path. Great for kids to play without worries. Adjacent to state forest and 3 miles to Interlochen Center for the Arts. Twenty minutes to Traverse City. Next to Betsie River for canoeing and close to many state bike trails. Bass lake is an all sports lake that features great fishing. We offer a sandy beach on the sunset side of the lake.

Perfect place for family with small children

We just finished a wonderful stay at this cottage. At first, we were a little surprised to see a large house on the same property and right next to the cottage, but the owners did a great job in creating a very private area for both homes. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the beach area, paddle boat, and row boat every chance we could get. The lake was very quiet during our stay which gave me the opportunity to enjoy a nice swim from our dock to the public boat launch. This cottage is also close to many attractions like the Platte River Fish Hatchery, Betsie River Bike Trail, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and Traverse City. We love this area and plan to return often.

Cottage is newly updated, even more so than is shown in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. Great for couples with young children. Owners are very friendly and hospitable. Would definitely stay on return visit to area!!

Wonderful property, cottage, lake and water toys. The cottage was very neat and tidy and it's proximity to the lake was perfect. Just can't beat the sunsets here. Perfect place for a small family with younger kids. Beach, dock and lake are great for teaching kids to swim in a safe environment. Really nice owners.

This place was exceptional. I almost don't want to give it such a good review, as I'd like to keep it to myself!! Quiet, clean...we loved it and can't wait to go back.
