Villa Victoria:
Villa Victoria is all you could possibly expect of a luxury Caribbean villa! The house is designed to take full advantage of its tropical setting in the midst of a beautiful Caribbean garden. The setting of the house is perfect as to ocean views, its connection with pool and garden.
The large free form pool is the focal point of the garden, with pool furniture located on surrounding terraces. Villa has a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean and Mt. Isabel. You can watch sunrise from your bed or enjoy it with a morning cup of coffee on the balcony.
Two louvered doors open to the pool and the patio attractively furnished for outdoor living. The dining area is decorated with a hand painted wall mural. Kitchen has a bar and is part of open downstairs space. All rooms are decorated with original local art and canvases from various countries.
Things To Do Nearby:
World-class marine eco-park, Ocean World, is a ten-minute walk from the villa. The guests can also use a Sun Village resort spa located nearby.
Playa Dorada, with Robert Trent Jones golf course, is 15 minutes away. The oceanfront golf course of Playa Grande is 1.5 hours from the villa. In Amber museum in Puerto Plata you can buy local amber and larimar; enjoy a breathtaking cable ride to the top of Mt. Isabel de Torres.
- Cabarete, the windsurfing and kite-boarding mecca is a 30 min drive to the east with its charm of myriad bars, cafes and shops.- Sosua has a pretty horseshoe shaped bay great for scuba diving and snorkeling on the reef.
How to Get There:
You have two choices: Puerto Plata and Santiago airports. We are located 30 min from Puerto Plata airport. AA Jet Blue and Continental have direct 3.5 hour flights from JFK and Newark airports. Flights from other US cities will be either through New York, Atlanta, Miami or San Juan. Ticket prices range anywhere from about $350 to $700/rt.
Santiago airport is a 1.20 hour drive from the villa. AA, Continental and Jet Blue also have direct flights from JFK to Santiago. AA has direct flights from Montreal to Puerto Plata. Other flights from Canada are routed through Miami or San Juan. A number of charter companies make direct flights from Canadian cities to Puerto Plata. Direct flights are available from many European cities, such as Frankfurt, London, Paris, Amsterdam, etc. Many charter companies also fly to Puerto Plata, such as Condor, etc.
