Activities: Golfing: There is North Shore Country Club, a beautiful Four Star course 3 miles from the house! Fishing: We are known as a fisherman's paradise.
You can fish from the beach, fish from the pier (one of the best fishing piers in NC is just a mile down the road), rent a private charter boat, or go deep sea fishing on one of the 'head' boats. Water Sports: You can rent a kayak from Herring Outdoor Sports. Herring's offers kayak classes and tours for the ocean and/or the sound. There are several companies that offer jet skis, boats, surf boards, body boards, and even parasailing. North Topsail Beach Town Park is located only 2 miles from the house, with lots to do: Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, Lighted Tennis Courts, Playground, Covered Picnic Area, along with bathroom facilities, and a Gazebo over the Bay for great Crabbing. Putt-Putt golf is just a few miles down the road. Souvenir shops are along the island.
North Topsail Beach is also known as a 'Great Shell-Finding Beach!' We have some of the best seafood restaurants on the East Coast! Most of our restaurants are privately owned and offer laid back atmosphere and delicious offerings.
