The farm with its holiday house “Il Castelletto” lies 20 km east from San Gimignano in the heart of Tuscany on the open road between Colle Di Val D’Elsa and Volterra on a hill with a wide panorama. All around you’ll see cornfields, woods and olive groves. Volterra lies in the heart of Tuscany. Il Castelletto is about an hour away from cultural centres such as Florence, Pisa or Siena and from the refreshing sea. It offers 3 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, a living room, a big dinette kitchen, a terrace with grill and a good room for at least 6 adults. You will find a big fireplace with wood there as well as electricity, constant warm water, dishwasher and heating in every room. Towels and sheets are at your disposal. A friendly San Bernard dog will watch you. An inviting wonderful swimming pool (20 x 4 m) offers you a nice place where you can appreciate the fantastic view and Tuscan atmosphere.

It offers as much space as you want to relax, to play, to make a trip etc. A swimming pool, 20 m long and 4 m large, invites you to bathe and, from the terrace beside it, you can admire an unforgettable view. Close to the pool will you find a wood-burning oven to cook your pizzas and a little kitchen, which completes our offer.

The beautiful location: A wonderful accommodation: hospitality in a relaxing atmosphere, peace and silence. A lot of space for children, a parking space, a refreshing swimming pool, the Tuscan landscape with its hills, cypresses, olive-trees, cornfields and woods, the sunshine, the brightness, the rare sound of nature - all this will give you wonderful holidays. Herrliche Woche in der Toskana

Begünstigt vom stabil-warmen Oktoberwetter haben wir eine Traumwoche in diesem außergewöhnlich schönen Domizil verlebt, haben viel gesehen in den umliegenden Städten Florenz, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano und Pisa, haben von den reizenden Gastgebern tolle Tips zu Ausflügen, Verköstigungen, Restaurants, Stränden bekommen und vor allem die tolle Aussicht über die toskanische Landschaft von Pool, Garten und Terrasse genossen. Und diese Sonnenuntergänge!!!Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Ausstattung umfassend durchdacht und zweckmäßig und das Ambiente einfach schön! Schade, dass der Berner Sennenhund nicht mehr ist...
Die Kinder haben das Pizzabacken im Steinofen als Event sehr genossen, wobei wir auch noch Zutaten aus dem Garten von Eleonora bekamen. Also rundum ein toller Urlaub in einem sehr empfehlenswerten Haus!

liebe gastgeberin, wir waren vom 30.05. bis 06.06. bei euch im paradies. es war eine suuuuper woche. das haus, die anlage, das ambiente, der pool, die gespräche mit ihnen, einfach super. vielen dank für die freundliche aufnahme.wir müssen wiederkommen, da wir den pizzaofen nicht ausprobiert haben. gr gert

Toskana im Winter

Diese Ferien! Wir wollten unser Familienfest an einem speziellen Ort feiern: in der Toskana der Toskaner. Die Gastfamilie hat uns unsere Fragen vor der Buchung beantwortet - ich hatte Angst, es sei in dieser Jahreszeit zu kalt, zu ungastlich und eventuell undgepflegt - und sie hat uns nicht zuviel versprochen. Welche Freude bei der Ankunft - es war noch schöner als erwartet.
Die Grossmutter und die Kinder genossen das warme, gemütliche und gepflegte Haus in einer unbeschreibbaren Landschaft, Tom unser Sohn hielt das Feuer im Kamin am Brennen, Nina entdeckte Vögel, Stachelschweine und staunte, dass Rosen im Februar blühen. Das nahe Florenz, Siena und San Gimignano, aber vor allem die vielen kleinen toskanischen Dörfer und Landhäuser begeisterten uns täglich.
Grossmutter's Geburtstag: es fehlte nichts im Haus für die Vorbereitung, die Tipps fürs Einkaufen waren sehr hilfreich, das Festessen war ein voller Erfolg, und die Familie fühlte sich sehr sehr wohl.
Danke, wir kommen wieder.

Erholung in mediterranem Flair pur !

Wir ( 3 Familien mit insgesamt 11 Personen) verbrachten unseren letzten Sommerurlaub in dem herrlichen Anwesen Il Castelletto. Auf Empfehlung von Bekannten fanden wir diese Perle im Herzen der Toskana. Bereits in unserer Planungsphase standen uns die Vermieter mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, so dass wir absolut perfekt vorbereitet unser Ziel erreichten. Das Haus war sehr sauber, die Außenanlagen sehr gepflegt und der Pool das zweite Zuhause nicht nur für unsere Kinder. Der hauseigene Pizzaofen machte das Pizzabacken zum Erlebnis. Die Frau des Hauses stellte uns ihren gesamten Nutzgarten zum Ernten zur Verfügung, d.h. man konnte nicht nur die reifen Trauben bewundern oder die Tomaten, sondern diese auch selbst pflücken und verköstigen. Man schmeckte also auch in diesem Urlaub direkt die Toskana. Die Vermieter haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert, uns jede Menge nützlicher Tipps gegeben und waren immer super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man urlaubt dort in ruhiger Abgeschiedenheit und liegt dennoch zentral für Ausflüge zu den kulturellen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit für Lebensmittel lag in der Alabaster-Stadt Volterra, der wir fast täglich einen Besuch abgestattet haben. Ein Urlaub, von dem wir noch lange zehrten und wir schließen nicht aus unsere Perle noch einmal zu besuchen. Wir können dieses Objekt für Erholungssuchende nur empfehlen.
