Photos and Description of this Dithmarschen holiday farmhouse

The house was built between 1790 and 1895. During the year 2001 it was completely restored. The house is held under monument protection. In the living room you will find a historical chimney oven from the year 1890, which you can fire with wood. Altogether you will find three bathrooms in the house, two with showers. You also have a sauna and whirlpool in the house, so that you can easily relax. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms (two bedrooms with double-beds and two with two single-beds). On the main floor you will find another bedroom with a double-bed. The kitchen has a dishwasher, freezer, Jura espresso machine and a stove. In the living room there is a big table, which can sit up to 12 people. The house has Satellite-TV, a DVD-Player and a stereo. The terrace is 35 m².

The house stands all by itself, just surrounded by fields of corn. The next little village is Wöhrden (15 minute walk) there you will find a bakery, a little shop, a drugstore and a few restaurants. Very good is the 'Gasthaus Oldwöhrden'. The big supermarkets you will find in Büsum (10 km), Wesselburen (7 km) and Heide (8 km). Heide is a very nice town with the biggest marketplace in Germany and nice traffic-calmed shopping streets. To reach the wonderful big beaches at St.-Peter-Ording, you drive over the Eidersperrwerk and get there in 35 minutes by car. The next nice golf course you will find in Warwerort, which is 5 km by car. The 18-hole course is very close to the northern sea and not always easy. Warwerort has also a 'Green-Beach' were you can walk very nicely.

Das Objekt liegt in sehr schöner Alleinlage und die Beschreibungen fanden wir zutreffend. Hier gilt wirklich "Land der Horizonte", das Motto von Schleswig-Holstein. Zur Erholung bot das Haus alles was wir gebraucht haben, so daß auch zwei Regentage nichts ausmachen. Die Küche haben wir genutzt und die Sauna. Wir hatten zu Zweit sehr viel Platz und werden sicher mit ein paar Freunden wiederkommen. Wir können auch nur nahe legen den Empfehlungen der Vermieter zu folgen. Den Golfplatz werden wir das nächste Mal ausprobieren. Uns hat auch die Liebe zum Detail bei der Ausstattung und Einrichtung gefallen. Unterm Strich der richtige Platz zur Erholung. Vorsicht ist vor dem niedrigen Türbalken zur Küche geboten - ist eben ein älteres Haus mit Geschichte, und die Leute waren damals wohl kleiner. Man gewöhnt sich aber sofort daran. Und die Atmosphäre in einem reetgedeckten Haus ist eben besonders schön.

Das Haus entsprach voll und ganz unseren Vorstellungen und der Beschreibung, insbesondere die liebevolle Ausstattung gefiel uns. Aufgrund des schlechten Wetters, waren wir viel im Haus und haben das Kaminfeuer, sowie die Sauna und den Whirlpool genossen, auch haben wir viel Zeit an dem Esstisch verbracht. Auch in der Küche haben wir nichts vermisst. Wir haben das Haus schon guten Freunden weiterempfohlen.

Das Haus ist nicht geeignet für mehrere Ehepaare
Das Haus war nicht gut gereinigt
In der Küche waren verschiedene abgelaufene und zum Teil
verschimmelte Lebensmittel zu finden
In den Sommermonaten kann man den schönen Garten und die Terrasse nutzen
Wirlpool und Sauna waren OK

da dieses mindestens 100 jährige Haus über viele Schrägen verfügt lassen sich Kleiderschränke leider nicht stellen und wir haben unser Haus mit sieben sehr geräumigen Echtholzkomoden, die viel Platz für Ihre Urlaubsgaderobe bietet ausgestattet. Es ist richtig das zwei Zimmer keine Doppelbetten haben, sondern zwei 2,00 x 1,00 große íneinander verschiebare Betten haben. Dieses haben wir aber auch in unserer Anzeige geschrieben! Wenn Vormieter Lebensmittel zurückgelassen, war dies sicherlich nur gut gemeint. Zukünftig werden wir wirklich alle Lebensmittel entsorgen lassen. Dass das Haus schlecht gereinigt gewesen sein soll, verwundert uns sehr, wir haben einen professionellen Reinigungsservice, und sollte dieser wider Erwarten schlecht gearbeitet haben, hätten wir uns sehr über einen Anruf gefreut um diesem Umstand Abhilfe leisten zu können. Wir bereiten Ihnen von Herzen gerne einen wunderschönen Urlaub!

erholsame Zeit

Wir sind ferienhauserprobt und das Haus entsprach im Wesentlichen unseren Vorstellungen. Die Sauna gefiel uns sehr gut. Die telefonischen Kontakte mit den hilfsbereiten Vermietern waren nett. Was uns störte, war die Tatsache, dass wir Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen mussten. Das müsste angesichts des Preises nicht sein. Die Küche war bzgl. Herd u.ä. gut ausgestattet, die Jura Kaffeemaschine haben wir viel benutzt, weil wir zuhause auch eine haben. Das Geschirr und die Töpfe hätten allerdings eine Auffrischung nötig. Als Luxushaus würde ich das Ferienhaus deshalb insgesamt nicht bezeichnen.
