The first floor Apartment no 1 has 2 bedrooms, each with a shower and WC, a safe, a hall, a bathroom with a tub, a washing machine, a living room with an extensible couch, a satellite TV, a dining table, a kitchen with 4 gas cooker elements, a fridge, a coffee machine, a small table, a big terrace with a roof, tables and chairs. Heating (from October till April) costs 6 € a day. The price per day is 105 € incl. linen, current, gas and final cleaning. There is a locked parking lot in front of the house. The upper floor Apartment no 2 has 2 bedrooms (one with a shower and WC), a small hall, a bathroom and a washing machine, a living room with an extensible couch, 2 arm-chairs, a kitchen, a gas cooker, a coffee machine, a dining table and a small balcony. We are located in the north of Italy in the province of Novara (region of Piedmont), that is between Arona and Sesto Calende, in the village of Castelletto Ticino, where you find the typically mild climate of the southern part of the Lago (= lake) Maggiore. Our vacation houses are in an isolated estate. The estate’s name is “Villaggio Verbanella” and it is situated by the lake. Only 1 km from the estate there is a big shopping centre with a supermarket, a clothes shop (which is also open 24 hours on Sundays), a bowling centre with 24 tracks, billiard rooms, table tennis, slot machines and a cinema with 9 halls. There are boatyards nearby where you can park your boats. There are several golf courses nearby: Arona (1 km away with 9 holes), Castellconturbia (10 km away with 27 holes) and Bogogno (15 km away with 36 holes). Stresa’s mountain, the Mount Mattarone (1,540 m), offers a lovely area for walks or winter sports. It is either reachable by car or by car cable. 1 hour away there

Großzügige,ältere Ferienwohnung mit neuem Pool

Wer Spaß am ausdauernden Shoppen in Mega-Supermärkten oder diversen Factory-Outlets hat, kann sich hier in der Umgebung richtig austoben.
Das Haus selbst liegt in einer durch Schranken abgetrennten Ferienhaussiedlung unweit des Sees. Baden im See ist hier möglich, aber nicht sehr idyllisch. Mit dem Auto kommt man aber recht schnell an nette Badeplätze auf der anderen Seeseite und auch wesentlich hübschere Städtchen. Baden im neuen Pool( oval, ca 3x7m), der noch von drei bis vier anderen Wohneinheiten genutzt wird, macht vor allen den Kindern riesigen Spaß.
Die deutschsprachigen Vermieter, ein älteres Ehepaar aus Südtirol, sind sehr hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend.
Zum Haus Aurora: Die Ferinwohnung im Erdgeschoss ist recht großzügig und mit drei Bädern und WCs auch für größere Familien völlig ausreichend. Größtes Manko: die kleine und recht alte Küche sowie die ingesamt ziemlich in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung (Betten, Sofas ..etc.) Auch die Sauberkeit ließ ein wenig zu wünschen übrig.
Somit insgesamt ein "Befriedigend".
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
