These stylishly renovated country-houses - sleeping up to 9 people in total including children - are situated on top of a hill (altitude 500 m / 1425 ft) between Orvieto (20 minutes by car) and Rome (one hour by car) in sophisticated surroundings as well as an incomparable view of Civita and the Tiber Valley. Pool and private. There is a lovely barbecue area where you can grill outside in the summer time. The property has two nice apartments, for 3 and 2 guests. The owner lives in a separate part of the main villa. The historic village of Civita and Bolsena lake (15 km) are located nearby. There is so much to see in terms of art, museums and Etruscan ruins. In less than 45 minutes by car, guests can also enjoy the famous Saturnia Spa for a completely relaxing experience.

La Casetta is part of the main villa and has a private garden as well as a private entrance. Made of a portion of 50 sqm of the property, La Casetta faces the amazing and romantic Civita valley and has a terrific view of acres and acres of forested hillsides, the impressive canyon of Civita and the fascinating old Civita Bridge which is lit up at night. You can reach the garden through the dining room glass doors which open onto a private porch, furnished and decorated for our guest's relaxation (terracotta vases, flowerpots, hammock, table, chairs, BBQ). All our antique and country furnishings are carefully collected by the owners with respect to the natural elegance of the place. The private driveway of the main property ensures isolation from any traffic noise.

Sets of linens, towels and kitchen cloths changed weekly (for stays of more than one week). During the cold/hot season an additional amount will be charged for heating or air-conditioning. Extra maid service upon request.. Advance payment for a one week stay is 50 %. More than one week stay, advance payment equal to the rent in the high seasons. Final cleaning costs 30.00 Euro.

Civita

This very inspirational town can only be reached by a pedestrian bridge and is very close to our villa. It is built on a soft volcanic stone, called tufo, which has eroded creating an historic example of integrated ecological design. That's why the view is so spectacular in the ever-changing light. This town surelyhas richness not found in other modern cities. Civita has preserved much of its medieval character and still has traces of Early Roman and Etruscan civilization. Don't be surprised if, while walking through in Civita, you feel like you are walking through another era.
