The authentic rustic country house with a big garden is situated approx. 1000 m to Pollenca in the privileged tranquil region of La Font. A narrow access goes to the garden entrance. The house is one-storied. In its front is an open and a covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The entrance leads into a cozy living/dining room with open fireplace and typical Majorcan wood-work and furniture. Next door is a complete rustic kitchen which leads off to the covered terrace. The living room leads off to a bedroom with twin beds and terrace and to a bathroom. In the first floor are two bedrooms, one with twin beds, the smaller one with a French bed, and a bathroom. From the bigger bedroom leads a door to a roof terrace with wonderful view to the mountains of La Font. The house is surrounded by a spacious garden with orange and palm trees and with other Mediterranean plants. The finca has no pool. So it is ideal for families with non swimmer children or groups (walkers, golfers).

The attractive, wealthy country town (15.000 inhabitants) in the north of the island is quite conservative. This is a benefit for its guests, here people still celebrate traditional festivals, nurture traditional crafts (i.e. linen weaving with so-called Ikats) and the beautiful, old town-houses. Pollenca can indeed be regarded as one of the art-centres of the island with its 12 art galleries and the International Music Festiaval which takes place during the summer months. The Sunday market, with fresh fruit and vegetables of the region, attracts many guests of the fincas and holiday-villas. The Calvario with its 365 steps is Pollenca's landmark, the monastery mountain Puig de Maria is nearby a 'must' to visit. One of the island's most attractive golf-courses (9-hole) is 2 km away, the beautiful beaches of Cala Sant Vicenc are 7 km away. Port de Pollenca is the harbour town with its beautiful promenade at the seaside and a lot of good fish food restaurants. Nearby is as well Formentor.
