Brand new modern und comfortable Bungalow - near the beach

Just only a few minutes walk away from the sandy beach of Matala and from the main village activities / shops / restaurants and Tavernas . Our 2 -room Bungalow stands just above the valley of matala in an over a 10 acres of private ground and have a shared pool. The Bungalow-villa can easily sleep up to 5 persons. They are two double sized Bedrooms, with large Bathroom and doors that leading onto the garden and the Veranda. The new built bungalow is equipped with flat screen TV set, A/C, fridge and dispose of large-scale glass doors with mosquito nets. Both the main rooms are very bright because of the glass sliding doors. The bungalow for itself is an independent flat and calm therefore. Comfortable beds guarantee relaxing sleep. They can be used both as single and double beds.

A small fishing village, which was popular in the 60’s with the hippies who dwelled in the natural cave formations. The magnificent inlet of Matala features one of the best beaches in Crete. The artificial caves, carved into the north face of the coast, have been probably used as prehistoric dwellings and places of worship, while during the 1st-2nd century were used as tombs. These caves, in combination with the sandy beach, form a semicircle on both sides of which jut up towering rocks; they act as a magnet for many people. During the 60\'s the caves were hosting a hippie commune. Today it attracts beach lovers who enjoy its lively nightlife and low-key atmosphere. Matala is jammed during the summer but even in high summer, it still has its charms.
