Our cottage can be found at the border of a little lovely village, located near the Schaalsee. From the large terrace and the sitting room you have a great view over the lake. Distance to lake and a small beach are about 50 metres. In summer you may enjoy the sun on the large terrace, in winter you will prefer sitting in front of the open fire place in the sitting room. Independent of the season, the Schaalsee region invites you for walking and biking. In the village there are two restaurants and a stable, where you can find a place for your horse. Golf is possible near by (about 20 km).

The Schaalsee region is located in the area of the former German - German border - during these years a rather seldom fauna and flora could be developed. Since 2000, the region is accepted as biosphere area by the UNESCO. A chain of 24 lakes form a huge area ideal for walking, biking, etc. In calm and quiet it is a wonderful place for recreation.
