Apartment in an old country home which was built from stone
Podere Poderino is an old country home in Tuscany which was built from stone. Over the course of many years it has been carefully and lovingly restored. It is located all by itself on a hill with an impressive panoramic view. In 1998, we built a beautiful pool area (15.3 m x 7.2 m) along with a pavilion and an exterior fireplace that meets the highest standards on our natural property surrounded by olive groves. The view you have from here embracing the picturesque rolling hills of the Tuscany landscape turns swimming into an unforgettable experience. The beautifully designed interior patio paved with old bricks features sunshades, lounges and exterior showers, and is available to our guests. From here you can enjoy the view of the valley and the idyllic silence.
Details for the Podere Poderino in Tuscany, Italy
All apartments and their respective terraces are located on different levels because the house is built on a hill. Each family who spends their holidays in Podere Poderino therefore may enjoy guaranteed undisturbed privacy. The main house is divided into 4 apartments of different sizes that are all furnished individually and with lots of attention to detail. Each apartment has its own covered terrace. The fireplace and the barbecue amenities are available by all guests. A few yards away from the main house “Casa Firenze” is located, which had been used by our family so far. The house is a little jewel with a large terrace with many plants and an exterior kitchen with a bar that invites you to cook and indulge in.

Tuscany
Tuscany is one of the two or three most important historical and artistic areas of the world. According to a UNESCO listing, among all countries, Italy has by far the most art works in the world, followed by Spain on rank number two. According to the same listing, only the Province of Florence possesses as many works of art as entire Spain does. You do not need to be an expert to be delighted by Siena’s town hall or by San Gimignano’s fresco paintings. The art in Tuscany and in particular medieval art has always been and still is very popular. Florence without any doubt is the art capital. Siena, Pisa and Lucca are also known worldwide as important art cities. The best places to experience medieval and Renaissance area flair though are the small and medium-size towns with their well-defined city limits. There are dozens of impressingly beautiful towns, many of them have preserved their historic centres and important art works in perfect shape.
