The sporty family village of Feld am See has two warm bathing lakes which have also each a beach and a promenade. The place has remained its village character. During the Christmas and semester holidays, these buses drive into the ski resort paradise of Bad Kleinkirchheim. At this site you can also take sleigh rides. Other superb sport offers are ice surfing, ice tennis and of course ski-, snowboard-, and carving classes which are offered by the Sport School Krainer.

Drive by cable car to the peaks around Bad Kleinkirchheim. There you can reach heights of up to 2.100 m. The peaks are within the “National Park Nockberge” or at the “Kaiserburg”. Both of these places are good starting points for fantastic alp hikes and breathtaking views. The fresh breeze is a benefaction for the circulation and your health. So allergies have no chance and stay in the valley! After one of these trips in the air you either can relax well in a Roman spa or in the spa of St. Kathrein. Ski:
Bad Kleinkirchheim can offer ideal winter sport conditions to the guests. Here you will find 100 slope kilometre at the huge north slope of the “Kaiserburg” and the south-east slope of St. Oswald. There are different difficulty levels, from easy slopes (light blue) to really difficult ones (dark black) with the new Franz Klammer World Cup Slope. Nearly 100 % of the slopes have synthetic snow machines. You will find perfectly prepared slopes. Therefore, their are a lot of opportunities to ski in untouched deep snow. Of course, there are skiing schools for the young and the old. There are also ski-children care, ski hiking and cross-country slopes. Further ski resorts are very close. Lake Falkert is a small but lovely ski resort. You will not have to queue at the lifts. The “Turracher Höhe” is a snow warranty area. It is 25 km away. Or you climb further up to the Mölltaler Glacier. Here you find sun (especially at the south-side of the alp main pass) and a lot of snow.
Golf:
You can play golf in Bad Kleinkirchheim. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a professional. The golf course Bad Kleinkirchheim-Reichenau is one of the most famous in Austria. The 18-hole champion course “Kaiserburg” was set up on 60 ha. Its architect was Don Harradine. The people who are attached to golf will find everything they need on this golf course. It has a classic aft-loop. You will enjoy the wide fairways, the quick greens and the holes which differ a lot. Playing golf at Lake Millstätter: at the sunny high plateau, directly over Lake Millstätter is the 18-hole golf course. Whilst you are playing there, you have a fantastic view at Lake Millstätter and the National Park Nockberge.
