Cardedu is a small village in Ogliastra, one of the most beautiful historical and geographical regions in Sardinia. The coast and the sea: large beaches, white and fine sand and beautiful depths. The area: the coastal part of Ogliastra, with many long beaches and small inlets is surrounded by limestone rocks overlooking the sea. Inland: mountains, spectacular rocks, woods (Sardinian deer) and archaeological sites.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Laundry for bed & bath included in rental price (and, during mid & low season, use of electrical heating device if needed). Also included are use of pool and tennis court and the separate special room for washing, ironing and drying. The covered barbecue is to be cleaned by the guest after each use and the kitchen (& kitchen tools) shall be clean at departure. Guarantee deposit: 300 EUR per apartment. Attention: arrival and departure days are flexible (minimum rental period is 1 week). Final cleaning per apartment: 50 EUR. Arrivals after 20:00p.m.: 50 EUR
  • Final cleaning: 100 EUR - Guarantee deposit: 400 EUR. Flexible arrival & departure dates.
  • Included in rental price: weekly exchange of laundry for bed & bath and use of swimming pool. The covered barbecue area and the kitchen are to be left clean. If not clean, we have to charge our guests at their departure. Attention: special price is made for stays of minimum 2 weeks (not in July or August).

"Fantastic" is the exact word for it ! Our family spent the best holidays ever. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained and the location was just great. We did appreciate the seperat condo with washing machine, iron facilities & dryer. The kids were most happy with the swimmingpool (just at the front door!) and the free space in the garden.
We did not use the tennis court, because we are no tennisplayers, but I can immagine that, for those who do, it must be great to have a tennis court on the property.

Although the property has four apartments, ours felt very private at all times.
When we wanted to go to the beach, we took the car. But strangely enough, we did not mis the beach at all. Thank you Maria and Anna-Paola for the kind reception and your tips for visiting breathtaking locations. We went hiking and mountain biking with a local group of young people and visited amazing places.
A restaurant at 1km distance serves very fine dishes at honnest prices. Sometimes we also took the car to go to one of the restaurants in Barisardo and Loceri.
We absolutely are recommending the Villa Melissa to all friends.
