Buessleben is a village on the outskirts of the attractive Thuringian capital of Erfurt with many cultural and historical atmosphere. It is only 7 km away, or 10 minutes by car, to the middle of the city. It is also close to the B7, which allows a direct connection to the cultural town of Weimar (about 15 minutes by car, 18 km away). In Buessleben there is the Petri Church with the oldest 'Sterzing Organ' in Thuringian and organ concerts, in nature you can walk along the little river 'Petrbach' through the village and to different destinations. For the
children there are two playgrounds and for shopping is a supermarket about 400 m from the vacation house. In the next village there is a horseback riding hall. In the village and the area there are different restaurants. For daytrips you can go one of many castles, the hiking trails, open air museum or water park and thermal in the beautiful countryside.
