Arrival:
The arrival day is Saturday. Car is recommended: Highway drives: E 15 - AP 7, Drive 42 Ulldecona / Vinaros (approx. 8 km to Vinaros). Highway drive: E 15 - AP 7, Drive: 41 Sant Carles de la Rapita, further on N 340, along the coast to Vinaros (approx. 30 km). Next airport: Reus approx. 100 km, Valencia approx. 145 km, Barcelona approx. 200 km. If you book a flight and then rent a car, it is recommendable to bring the flight booking conformation with you (it is usually more convenient). Next train station: Vinaros approx. 6 km. It makes a stop in Talgo as well. Please book your train ticket in advance. If you arrive by plane in Valencia Airport, you can take the A 7 heading Castellon-Barcelona, up to the drive Benicarlo-Peniscola, and then further on the national street N 340 to Vinaros.
Information about Vinaros:
Vinaros is located on the so called Orange Flower coast, surrounded by orange, almond and olive trees. Only a few km from here, the mountainous chain Maestrazgo is waiting for you. In the city, there are numerous restaurants with very good cuisine. Vinaros is a gastronomic center in the Castellon Province. On location, you will find comfortable country narrow streets that invite you for a walk. There are many attractive places in Avenidas. Vinaros hat numerous bars, where you can have a good time and enjoy the delicious tapas. On each evening around 17 o’clock, there is a fish discount in the fish hall, in the port. Vinaros is also famous for its best crawfish. Each Thursday morning a gipsy market takes place in town. In the town center, there are beautiful market halls, where you can buy agricultural products, meat and fresh fish. There are also several discos and dance clubs in town.
Trip possibilities:
It would be interesting to take a trip in the romantic mountainous world, to Morella (approx. 70 km). The storage lake Platano de Ulldecona (approx. 35 km) in the mountains is also very charming. The close Ebro-Delta offers interesting experiences with its lush vegetation, large rice fields and the km long sand beaches (approx. 25 km). Also interesting to see is Peniscola, famous for its castle Papa Luna stretching up to the sea. Peniscola is the Eldorado of the Spanish people and the place where many years ago the movie El Cid was filmed. Back then, there was only sand beach and swamp steppe to see. Nowadays, there are plenty of hotels and the beach is very populated during the high season. A walk to the castle, in the late afternoon or in the dusk would also be very nice (approx. 14 km). Take a charming trip to the amusement park Port Aventura, near Tarragona (approx. 100 km). Worth seeing is also the historical city of Valencia, with its new attraction (approx. 150 km).

In San Jorge, approx. 15 km from Vinaros, you will find the 18-hole golf course Panoramica, by Bernhard Langer.
