The large country estate Trieste is situated in a fantastic, peaceful and panoramic location amongst the magnificent hilly countryside between the Etruscan town of Volterra and the Tyrrhenian coast. The main house and the “Capanna” have been completely renovated respecting traditional building methods to create lovely, rustic apartments which have been comfortably furnished. The produce of the winery is available to taste and buy – oil and wine, cheese, eggs, honey etc. The fantastically situated large swimming pool (19 x 9 m) with hydro-massage and whirlpool, together with the complete outside garden area, including a terrace with many seating areas, can be used by the guests, as well as a large common-room with television, a public telephone and a coin-operated washing machine. There is a small restaurant nearby (2 km) and shops in Lajatico (approx. 4 km).

3-rm. apt., slps. 5; 1st fl., approx. 52m²; entrance via outside staircase shared with Type 05: Living-/bedrm., kitchenette, dining area, double bedrm. with extra bed, twin bedrm., showerrm. with WC/bidet. The apartments were tastefully restored in 1995, are excellently decorated and furnished and have central heating. The modern kitchens all have an oven.

Lajatico is a small town on a hill in the Val d’Era, a valley which runs south-east from Pisa to Volterra. Here all the old streets are so narrow, that the main route through the town is one-way. The “Piazza” remains the busy and lively focal point of every day life.
