The Borgo San Pecoraio lies in a wonderful panoramic location approx. 2km from the village of Riparbella and was created in 2003 within the farmstead upon which it is located. The guests have fantastic views across the surrounding fields and hills and to the Etruscan coast. The islands of Elba, Capraia and Corsica can be seen glistening on the horizon. The apartments, terraced and semi-detached houses spread across an extensive, terraced area, partly on the hillside. San Pecoraio harmonises the advantages of the original Tuscan architecture with the modern demands of comfortable living. The complex comprises a fantastic villa, and the original Borgo with several groups of houses, which are scattered throughout the extensive grounds. The guests can use the reception, bar, children’s playground, coin-operated washing machine and a restaurant with a large terrace opening onto the swimming pool (17 x 11m).

Entrance into living-/bedrm. with double sofa-bed, kitchenette, dining area; double bedrm.; twin bedrm.; shower/WC/bidet. The apartment with satellite TV is clean and comfortably furnished with high quality furniture in the Tuscan style and partly with beamed ceilings and tiled floors. The modern kitchens have a four-ring stove, extractor fans and an oven. All apartments have a furnished terrace or a large, deep loggia.

The small, characteristic village of Riparbella (230m above sea level) with its historic centre lies approx. 35km west of Volterra in hilly countryside above the Etruscan Riviera. Riparbella offers an impressive panorama amongst diverse countryside with woods of chestnut trees, olive groves and vineyards. The old town centre, built around the castle, dates back to the middle ages around the year 1000. The narrow alleys and the old houses create a magical atmosphere. The sea and the beaches of Cecina and Vada are approx. 17km away. There are small shops, restaurants and tennis courts in the village and larger shopping centres in Cecina.
