The Rosen brothers purchased the property, platted the community and created more than 400 miles of canals. Cape Coral is the second largest city in the state of Florida. The area of Pine Island and Matlache is still like many years ago, wild-romantic and silent. House Lakeview is situated in the southwest area, a short distance away. Here you find lovely fish-restaurants and souvenir-shops. In Matlache you can rent a boot and you are immediately in the Gulf without going through a lock and cruising miles and miles in the canals. In Pineland-Marina are daily boot-tours available, going to the most splendid islands like Cabbage Key and Cayo Costa - having enough time for swimming and sunbathing.
