Hiking in Willingen:
The environment around the holiday apartments Sonnenlift is a paradise for hikers and those who want to be hikers. 9 marked hiking paths are nearby. Both beginners and experienced hikers will find 'their' path here. Thus, the Rothaarsteig, for example, is only 500 m from our house. With around 160 km of diverse low mountain ranges and crest paths up to 843 meters, the recently opened Rothaarsteig hiking path is one of the most forested region in Germany. Furthermore, you will find upland climbing, a challenging hiking path 64 km long. It leads around the city of Willingen (upland) and goes through all 9 districts. The team of the outfit outdoor center will help you accompany you on your hikes upon request. One of our new highlights is the rental of GPS devices, thus, none of our guests can get lost in the charming environment of the upland.

Skiing and Apres ski:
Our house is located 130 m above the valley station of the ski lift Sonnenlift in Willingen about 720 m high. From your apartment you can drive directly on the ski slope 'Sonnenlift' with a flood light (2008) and 10 snow makers and back without even using the street. However, during the evening after Apres ski or a proper dinner in the 'Vis-a-Vis' lodge only 130 m away from the apartment, you can go back to your apartment and enjoy the stunning panorama view of Willingen and the most modern cable car system in Germany north of the Alps.

Ski lift directly by the house (5 m), 3 more lifts up to 500 m away, storage spaces for your skis or sleds available.
Golf:
Multiple golf courses nearby (- 35 km).
