The small Résidence La Rose des Vents lies only 10km from the picturesque village of Calvi. Its peaceful, slightly raised location offers fantastic views to the citadel of Calvi and the surrounding mountains. Only approx. 500m away is a child friendly, gently sloping small sandy beach. Surrounded by the wonderful smell of the macchia and in a well tended garden is the newly built, two storey Résidence. On the beach there is a small café/restaurant for the guests. Further picturesque beaches approx. 3-5km away, such as the bay of Calvi, framed by shady pine woods, offering with its almost 6km long sandy beach one of the best bathing locations on Corsica. Each apartment has its own parking space. Shops and restaurants approx. 3km away. Here you can get to know the everyday life of a small, Corsican village, surrounded by olive groves and fruit plantations.

Calvi’s picturesque townscape, with its lively pedestrian area, cafes and restaurants invites one to wander through the narrow alleys, browsing and taking in the pleasant atmosphere as well as enjoying the rich cultural programme. In the delightful Corsican countryside one is promised a varied and unique holiday, free to enjoy any number of activities from hiking, mountain climbing and bike tours to discovering the many hidden bays and maybe doing a bit of diving, surfing or sailing. Bastia (ferry terminal) is approx. 90km away.
