The country house Mas de l´Escapade lies in a peaceful location at the foot of the mountain, approx. 2km from the village in a small hamlet surrounded by cypress, olive, oak and plum trees. The 2000m² private grounds are part of some wonderful countryside, making walks a pleasure. The house offers its guests their own, secure pool (10x5m) with sun loungers, parasols and shower as well as a barbecue next to a covered, furnished terrace. Walking and rafting are possible nearby. Small bakers and food store in the village; further shops in Contes (approx. 10km). Parking at the house. The country house is comfortably furnished in the style of a huntsman’s lodge and is well equipped with 3 bathrms., 2 TVs (1 with satellite-dish), video recorder, telephone, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, coffee-maker, oven and microwave.

Coaraze, also called „Village du Soleil“ (sun village), lies in the countryside behind Nice on the edge of the nature park Mercantour, perched 650m up on the peak of a mountain. The peaceful, mediaeval village is full of charm and invites you to explore its narrow, cobbled streets. Discover the hidden, arched passageways and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the nature park. There you have a choice of many interesting trails for walking, as well as the possibility to go canyoning. Coaraze lies approx. 30km from Nice and the nearest beaches.
