The house stands on a fenced-in estate (approximately 250 sqm) with patio and windbreaker. In the summer the garden is surrounded with rich vegetation so that it is easy to relax without interference. The beautiful beach is in walking distance (i.e. 5 minutes). The house is mainly used by the owners themselves and therefore very well kept. It offers everything a young family needs: children highchair, travel cot, baby carrier belt for walks on the beach, baby’s bath as well as toys for inside and outside the house, books and music.

Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is a charming rural province with a lot of beautiful beaches where even shark teeth can be found. Nieuwvliet-Bad is situated directly next to the sea between Breskens (a fishermen’s village with ferry terminal) and Cadzand. In the near area you will find a lot of possibilities for shopping or sporting activities. In villages like Sluis, Oostburg, Breskens or Mitddelburg you can enjoy the typical Dutch atmosphere. For us, several pleasure destinations e.g. Knokke, Brügge, Gent, Antwerpen or with the ferry to Vlissingen or Middelburg provide an ideal mixture of retirement, sporting activities and cultural stimulus - just according to desire.

Wir,drei Erwachsene,ein Kleinkind und ein Hund, haben eine wunderschöne Woche in dem Häuschen verbracht und alles so vorgefunden,wie es beschrieben wurde.Es ist komplett eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was zur Selbstversorgung benötigt wird.Von Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher,Mikrogrill ,Gläser, Porzelan,Bestecke usw,bis hin zur Waschmaschine ist alles vorhanden.
Eventuelle Fragen wurden vom Vermieter korrekt und schnellstens beantwortet.
Die sogenannten Tretminen auf dem Grundstück gab es nicht.
Mein Enkel,2 Jahre,konnte sich auf dem Grunstück austoben und die Gefahr auszubüxen,gab es trotz niedriger Törchen nicht.Das einzig "gefährliche" für Kleinkinder ist der Treppenaufgang im Haus.Den kann man von oben her absperren,von unten nicht.Die Schlafzimmer sind etwas klein,aber sind ja auch nur zum Schlafen und nicht zum Tanzen gedacht.Der Weg zum Strand ist ohne Anstrengung zu begehen und man braucht vielleicht 10 Min.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall dieses Ferienhaus an Freunde und Bekannte weiterempfehlen und selbst natürlich gerne wieder den Urlaub dort verbringen.

Haus mit Liebe zum Detail

Wir haben uns mit einem Kleinkind im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt (mit mehreren Kindern bzw. 2 Familien wäre es wohl platzmäßig eng geworden, da reichlich möbliert).

Der Garten ist zwar weitgehend geschlossen bewachsen, die beiden Eingangstörchen sind jedoch recht niedrig für kletterfreudige Kinder (und Hunde ? -> wir fanden Hinterlassenschaften im Garten)

Unangenehm aufgefallen ist uns bei unserem Aufenthalt im September leider die große Hundeanzahl im Ferienwohngebiet (u.a. auch ein größerer "Kampfhund"). Sowie viele freilaufende Hunde (samt ihren Hinterlassenschaften) am Strand, der ansonsten sehr schön ist !

Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nahe der Ferienhaussiedlung sind (zumindest im September) zeitlich begrenzt.

Wir würden wieder hinfahren (noch lieber mit weniger Hunden...).
