Annex house for rent in Mansion built 1630

In the beautiful Värmland County, 25 km from residence town Karlstad, you find Hammarstens Herrgård. The Mansion was built 1630 and is one of the most well-known manor houses in the area. You will rent the annex house which is one of seven houses in at the property. There are also a pool house with 4 x 9 m pool, a stable and an old prison (not in use) at the mansion. Värmland is known as a county with great views, untouched nature with a lot of possibilities to nature activities such as hiking and horse riding. It’s a lot of small lakes but also close the largest lake in Sweden - lake Vänern - which you find less than 20 minutes walk from the house. In surroundings you also find 5 golf courses, an old linen factory, adventure - swimming, museums of fine art and the former home of Selma Lagerlöf. You can easy reach Hammarstens Herrgård - airport is 20 km away - and railway pass Residence town Karlstad. A pick up can easily be arranged. Supermarket 2 km away - shopping center 20 km.

The mansion is situated 2 km outside the village Grums. In Grums you can buy almost everything you can need for your stay. The close surrounding is rural and it is about 300 m to the Grums church where there are services almost every Sunday. On the property there are a park area with old oaks and enclosed fields for horses. There are a lot of possibilities for walking and not far to the beach of Lake Vänern. You have possibility to use the pool house with its indoor/outdoor pool 4 x 9 meter.
