Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe des wunderschönen Sandstrandes von Segur de Calafell. Sie ist sauber und gut eingerichtet. Die Aussicht auf Strand und Meer ist klasse. Von Vorteil sind die Dusche im Hof und der Abstellraum für Strandutensilien. Da es keinen Aufzug gibt, muss man nicht alles hoch schleppen. Am Wochenende wird es abends ein bißchen laut aufgrund des nebenan gelegenen Lokales. Der Ort selber ist sehr nett und in Fußnähe befinden sich Bäckereien und Supermärkte. Etwas weiter (mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten) findet man einen großen Eroski-Supermarkt, Aldi und Lidl. Da überwiegend Spanier Ferien und Wochenende in Calafell verbringen, wird natürlich nirgendwo deutsch gesprochen. Aber mit englisch und Händen und Füßen kommt man gut zurecht. Alle sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Der Strand ist sehr sauber und auch das Meer ist sauber und da es flach hineingeht auch für Kinder bestens geeignet. Am Strand befinden sich Duschen und ein Dixi-WC. Ansonsten ist es ja auch nicht so weit zur Wohnung.
Lohnenswert sind Ausflüge nach Tarragona und Barcelona. Nach Barcelona fährt man am besten mit dem Zug, da die Bahnstation in Segur de Calafell in unmittelbarer Nähe liegt. Eine Fahrkarte für 4 Personen hin und zurück kosten ca. 25,00 Euro. Infos gibt es im Touristencenter am Hafen.
