This small house was a Bistro, but closed around the year 1911. After that it was used as residential home for the elderly. In the 1960s it was abandoned and in 1997 it was renovated and re-established. It has a living space with an integrated kitchen (dishwasher, gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge). Next to the living space is a roomy bedroom with a double bed. On the first floor is a second bedroom with two single beds as well as a large bathroom with a shower/WC. Two additional beds can be placed in the house. At the front of the house gardening furniture is available, for relaxing outside. This flat has a size of approx. 80 m² and offers space for 4 - 6 people. During the cold season the house has central heating. The large garden behind the farmhouse is situated with small tables and garden chairs as well as sunlounge. On a nice and sunny day guests can enjoy the sun and get a tan or sit in the shadow of the trees.

The Burgundy with its historic sites in art and culture is situated half way between Paris and Lyon. The view goes over a soft and slightly hilly scenery with many meadows and pastures, on which the white cattle of the Charollais region is being held. The area encourages visitors to go on bike tours or hiking. The wine of the burgundy, the tasty meat of the charollais cattle, chevre the goat cheese, lamb and mutton are just some of the culinary pleasures of the region. In a reachable distance are the cities of Cluny with its historical Abbey (built before St. Peters Cathedral in Rome) of the Benedictine monks as well as Beaune with its Abbey in which every year the famous wines are being auctioned. Dijon, Macon or Paray-le-Monial with their cathedrals are easily accessible. Many more smaller chapels and churches of the 11th. and 12th. century will find anyone’s interest. Everything is individual, introspective, cosy and quite in a wonderful countryside.

Eins vorweg: Ohne Auto nicht möglich....
Die Unterkunft liegt in einem kleinem, idyllischem Weiler im Burgund, Cluny, Charolais, Dijon, Weinbaugebiete in einer machbaren Entfernung. Vermieterin hilft gerne mit Wanderkarten oder sonstigen Informationen aus. Die Vermieterin tischt auf Wunsch sehr reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück auf. Table d'hôtes abends nach Anmeldung, auch sehr lecker. Betten prima ('echte' Oberbetten, keine landestypischen Wolldecken...). Die Küche ist auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet ausgestattet. Spülmaschine betagt, aber vorhanden und funktional. Duschbad sauber. Wer Ruhe und / oder (Ess!-) Kultur sucht, dem wird es hier gefallen, anderen könnte hier 'zu wenig los' sein.

Wer Ruhe liebt und Abgeschiedenheit im Urlaub sucht ist hier
gut aufgehoben. Die Anfahrt ist ein etwas labyrinthmäßig
durch Wiesen und Weiden.Haus und Wohnung und Einrichtung
sind freundlich gut und individuell. Die Vermieterin ist von
etwas strenger Wesensart und die Informationen über Einkaufs-
möglichkeiten,Brötchenservice,Bademöglichkeiten ect. werden
nur auf Anfrage gegeben.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Mein Kommentar bezieht sich auf die Informationen die angeblich
fehlen.
Es liegt in jeder Ferienwohnung eine 2-seitige Info über
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Öffnungszeiten, Restaurants in der
Umgebung usw usw aus. Außerdem ist eine Mappe mit Prospekten über Sehenswürdigkeiten vorhanden. Es besteht das
ständige, schriftliche Angebot für weitere Informationen nach indi-
viduellem Bedarf.
