From outside it is impossible to divine, that the interior part is so spacious: you enter through a big wooden door and you are in a spacious hall with an open fire place and phone access (for internet users). The hall leads off to a spacious antique kitchen with a cosy dining area, but with all modern equipment like dishwasher and washing machine. As well on the ground floor are a large dining room and a cosy living room. The first floor is the sleeping area of the finca. There are four bed rooms two with twin beds and two with French double beds and two spacious complete bathrooms. A small hall connects the rooms. The whole house is central heated. Between house and garden is a patio, a square with garden furniture and flowers. In the garden with greens is situated the pool with sun terraces and a large covered terrace with sun beds, BBQ, freezer and a shower bath/WC. Car port is available. The Finca is situated in the Valle d'en march, a beautiful valley, 3 km from Pollenca. Pollenca is an attractive, wealthy country town (15.000 inhabitants) in the north of the island. It is quite and conservative. This is a benefit for its guests, here people still celebrate traditional festivals, there are a lot of beautiful, old town-houses. Pollenca can indeed be regarded as one of the art-centres of the island with its 12 art galleries and the International Music Festival which takes place during the summer months. The Sunday market with fresh fruit and vegetables of the region attracts many guests of the Fincas and holiday-villas. The Calvario with its 365 steps is Pollenca's landmark, the monastery mountain Puig de Maria is nearby a must to visit. One of the island's most attractive golf-course (9-hole) is 2 km away, the new golf-course of Aucanada with sea view and 18 holes is 15 km and the beautiful beaches of Cala Sant Vicenc are 7 km away. Port de Pollenca is a harbour town.

Schön aber laut.

Die Finca ist wirklich wunderschön, wie im Text beschrieben. Leider liegt die Finca direkt an der Straße zwischen Pollenca und Söller. Ab 6 Uhr kann man nicht mehr mit offenen Fenstern schlafen (schade). Dies gilt für zwei Schlafzimmer.
Zudem haben sich 4 Personen (von 10) eine Ohrentzündung im Pool geholt.
Owner's Response: Kritik an zwei zu lauten Zimmern äußerte diese und eine ihr bekannte andere Familie, die zuvor dort Ferien machte. Ansonsten haben wir keinerlei Klagen darüber gehört. Und wir vermieten das Haus seit 20 (!!!) Jahren. Allerdings hat der Verkehr auf der Landstraße Pollena-Lluc in den letzten Jahren zugenommen.
So haben uns die Besitzer der Finca dann auch fest zugesagt, in den betroffenen 2 Schlafzimmern nach Ablauf der jetzigen Saison Doppelglasfenster und Klimaanlagen zu installieren.
Wir hoffen, daß dann der Titel für dieses Haus eher lauten sollte >Nur noch schön...<
Was die Ohrenschmerzen betrifft, so hören wir im Hochsommer von allen Seiten Klagen, auch von Gästen (vor allem von Kindern), die über gar keinen Pool verfügen und nur im Meer baden...
