This Majorcan finca is an ideal place to recover and relax during your holidays in a quiet and beautiful surrounding. The house is located on a little hill with a marvellous view at the monastery “San Salvador” and the lower valley of Felanitx. This area was set under natural protection. The estate (7.000 m²) is well fitted into its natural surrounding landscape, in which you’ll find a lot of olive-, carob and orange trees as well as stone-pines. Through its largeness the house offers enough space for each member of the family. You’ll find yourself apart of tourism, but close enough to the next village and the sea with the beaches. The interior of the house is equipped in an adequate country style way.

Porto Colom, highly estimated by marines because of its natural berth, still has a lot of antique houses at the seaside. This leads you to the impression of a calm and peaceful place. Mainly during the summertime lots of Felanitx citizens use their houses in the old village centre, which were built during the last century, as summer residences. Another part of the village offers a wide range of leisure activities during the summer months. There also is one big beach and two smaller sandy bays. Here you’ll find a surf- and diving centre. Something else, worthwhile to be mentioned, is the small local shipbuilding industry. In this village lots of little family-owned companies are still following up the traditional way of constructing boats.

Notes: After having entered through the hall you’ll find two bedrooms, one with a French bed, the other one with two single beds, which can be placed together, if required. Then you’ll come into the bathroom. Dining area and an open kitchen are integrated directly in the very big and comfortable living area with chimney. In front of the kitchen is one store-room. From the living area on the ground floor you can directly pass onto the terraces and the swimming- pool (7 x 4 m / 0,5 - 1,75 m). Furthermore there is one more additional big room, which could e.g. be used as a room for children to play. Closed to this room there is another bathroom with shower and one little room with washing-machine. One door leads you from here directly onto the pool terrace. The Majorcan owner couple of the house personally takes care of house, garden and pool maintenance as well as of all technical equipment of the house. Heating possibilities: electric heaters and chimney.

Felanitx: The typical Majorcan village with its good shopping possibilities can be found next to the high road, which leads to the coast. Some beaches and creeks are not far away. In the near surrounding you’ll find the following beaches: Es Domingos, Cala Murada, Cala Marsal, Cala Serena, Cala Gran, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Barca, Cala Mondrago, Cala S’Aramador and Cala Santany. Within 20 minutes you can reach the beach “Es Trenc”, partly kept in its natural condition.

Cala D'Or: In the centre of Cala d’Or (which sometimes is also called white village at the sea) you’ll find the biggest range of all leisure facilities at the east coast of Majorca such as restaurants, bars, cafés, a lot of shops or special designer boutiques, which are all prepared to meet your possible desires. Some say that the sporting port of Cala d’Or is the best one of the Majorca Island. Year after year the most famous luxury yachts can be seen here.

Optimal für erholsamen Urlaub

Nach der Beschreibung im Internet waren wir sehr gespannt auf das Haus, und - wir waren positiv überrascht. Macht das Haus im Internet schon einen guten Eindruck, so ist es in der Realität noch viel schöner.

Das Grundstück ist groß mit hohen Kiefern, so dass man den ganzen Tag über immer einen Platz im Schatten findet. Dabei ist die Aussicht auf den Klosterberg San Salvador einfach unbeschreiblich. Der Pool ist angemessen groß und bei unseren Kindern (11 und 12 Jahre alt) super angekommen. Schön ist hierbei, dass ungestörtes Baden möglich ist, da der Pool und die Terasse durch die hohen Bäume von keiner Seite aus einsehbar sind.

Im Haus haben wir alles vorgefunden, was wir brauchten: Schöne Zimmer, eine vollwertige Ausstattung mit Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Herd und Backofen, Mikrowelle und so weiter. Auch der Service mit Wäschewechsel und Poolservice war vorbildlich.

Sehr angenehm war auch der Kontakt zum Verwalter. Schon von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme an sind wir sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam behandelt worden. Ganz besonders toll fanden wir, dass sich unser Verwalter persönlich um unsere auf dem Flug verloren gegangenen Koffer gekümmert und uns diese sogar am nächsten Morgen vorbeigebracht hat. Hierfür noch einmal vielen herzlichen Dank, insbesondere für die Kommunikation mit der etwas unwilligen Flughafenangestellten!

Dieses Haus ist optimal für Urlauber, die gerne etwas abseits des Rummels in schöner Umgebung wohnen, aber dennoch in kurzer Zeit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und lohnende Ausflugsziele erreichen wollen.

Insgesamt hat das Objekt eine Bewertung von 5 Sternen verdient.

Ruhe mit Strandnähe

Wer gern vom Strandtrubel ( Minimalentfernung ca. 6km) des Tages eine ruhige Rückzugsmöglichkeit sucht, ist mit der Finca sehr gut bedient. Natürlich kann man sich auch den ganzen Tag hierher zurückziehen.
Das Haus ist rustikal und mit allen notwendigen Dingen ausgestattet, um sich bei Bedarf selbst zu versorgen. Der Zustand ist gepflegt. Kinder können sich im Umfeld auch einmal etwas lauter austoben. Der Pool ist stufenförmig ausgebaut, ideal für Schwimmer und Nichtschwimmer. Als ideal empfanden wir ( 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 10/03) die zentrale Lage zwischen Felant. und Por.Col. mit herrlichem Blick auf der Berganhöhe St.Salvador.Strände/Einkaufsmöglichkeiten/Restaurants problemlos zu erreichen. Super Kontakt zu den Vermittlern, bereits vor der Anreise, als auch vor Ort!

Traumhaft ruhig gelegene Finca

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, liegt mit dieser Finca genau richtig. Es handelt sich hier um keine Luxusfinca, sondern um ein einfach und sauberes eingerichtetes Landhaus mit Privatpool. Trotzdem ist alles Notwendige, was man als Selbstversorger braucht, vorhanden. Wir haben uns inmitten der Pinien-, Zitronen- und Olivenbäumchen sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch unser netter Ansprechpartner war jederzeit für uns da. Leider war die eine Woche zu kurz um all die Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Strände in der Nähe zu genießen.
Alles in allem können wir als Familie mit Kleinkindern diese Finca sehr empfehlen.
