This apartment is on a sunny terrace in the tranquil mountain village of Vestreno above Dervio on Comer See. You have a wonderful view of the lake as far as Bellagio and Menaggio from the roofed terrace and the garden, but you can enjoy the same view from the living room because of the panorama window. The apartment has 1 bedroom with double bed. In the living room there is a sofa which can be easily converted to a proper bed for 2 persons. In addition there is a cot. This apartment was furnished attractively to our taste including quality kitchen equipment.

Nearest Airport: Bergamo, Mailand at 70 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Dervio at 5 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Bellano at 7 Kilometres
Car: recommended
The tranquil mountain village of Vestreno is approx. 500 m above the lake, 5 km from the town of Dervio beside the lake, on the eastern side of Comer lake. As you enter Vestreno you’ll soon see the recurring beautiful view of Comer lake. In Vestreno there‘s a little trattoria and a small grocery shop. If you have more to buy you can go to Dervio or other towns around the lake. Vestreno is in Valvarrone. The surrounding chestnut woods and the local mountain, Monte Legnone, are great for hiking and walking. There‘s a tenniscourt in town (3 minutes on foot), which can be hired by guests. There’s also a children’s playground in town.

Ferienwohnung mit wunderschönem Ausblick

Wir waren vom 12. bis 26.07.08 in der sehr schönen, gut ausgestatteten und sauberen Ferienwohnung.
Ankommen und sich wohlfühlen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse bzw. auch von der Küche ist wirklich wunderschön. Der Pool ist ein Traum. Die Beschreibung der Fewo trifft zu. Es ist wirklich sehr ruhig in dem kleinen Bergdorf, deshalb für Familien mit Jugendlichen nicht zu empfehlen. Wer aber die Ruhe sucht, ist dort richtig. Die Anfahrt von Dervio ist etwas beschwerlich, d. h. ca. 6 km teils superenge und unübersichtliche Serpentinen. Ohne Hupe geht gar nichts!!!
In Dervio am See ist ein kleines Lokal "Le Vele". Dort kann man leckere Pizza essen, zu normalen Preisen.
Italienische Sprachkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, muss man aber nicht haben. Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub. Auf jeden Fall kann man die Wohnung weiterempfehlen.
