You cross the canal to the houseboat with your own dinghy and you will feel as if you are on an island. The annex is all yours. Room with fantastic view to the land. Cosy, comfortable, artistic atmosphere. The contrast with swinging Amsterdam is superb. Birds, regional costumes in Volendam (16 km), cheesemarket in Edam, Dutch polder landscape with canals. Recently renovated. Breakfast with products from the area. Lunch, dinner and boat tour on request. Restaurants and shops nearby. Bicycle rental in the village (3 km) with 17th century wooden houses. The houseboat with B&B 'Room with a view' is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Netherlands- Waterland. 12 min walking to the village of Broek in Waterland with wooden houses built in the 17th century. You reach the centre of Amsterdam easily by bus in 10 minutes (6 times per hour). The IJsselmeer is only 6 km far (Watersports!). Volendam, the former island of Marken (16 km), Edam, all easily accesible by bus. Long distance walking tracks, cycling, canoe. Enjoy the green fields, the historic costumes of Volendam, the many canals in the Dutch polder landscape. You reach 'Room with a view' with your own dinghey and will feel as if you are at an island! The room has a splendid view. Watch the meadowbirds, de sheep, lambs, cows, calfs, ducks, geese....

Angenehme, saubere Wohnung, nicht groß aber mit viel Atmosphäre, mitten in Testaccio, einem alten Viertel mit perfekter Infrastruktur: Restaurants, Bars, Cafés und - ganz besonders - der Markthalle, gerade mal 50 Meter entfernt, mit allem, was man zum Dolce Vita braucht. Man wohnt völlig untouristisch in einem großen Wohnhaus mit "normalen" Römern. Sehr gute ÖPNV-Anbindung ins Zentrum Roms, Fußnähe nach Trastevere auf der gegenüberliegenden Tiberseite. Angelica selbst ist eine reizende Person und angenehme Vermieterin. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder in die Casa Angelica!
