This is a new, spacious, sun-flooded apartment with about 70 m² living space, 3 private terraces, underfloor heating, airconditioning, terracotta tiles, safe and protection from mosquitoes . It has a 30 m² living room/bedroom with a comfortable double sofa bed, satellite TV, stereo system, cosy sitting corner, dining space, open kitchen with beautiful Majorcan bar, fridge, dishwasher, stove and oven and an exit to the breakfast terrace. There is also a bedroom with a double bed, closets, sofa bed (cot on request), exit to large sun terrace with an Andalusian stone bench, dining space, loungers, parasol and a little below a small 'separated terrace' under palm trees. A luxury bathroom with a shower and bathtub is also available.

The apartment is situated in a stunningly peaceful location in a villa region on the Costa Canyamel in the northeast part of the island. It is an enclosed unit with a separate entrance in a one-family-chalet with a romantic palm tree garden. Located on a mountain slope, surrounded by pine trees and with a 'small sea view', it is about 5 minutes to the sea with small bays. About 12 min. walk, fresh bread, newspapers, bank, pharmacy, small supermarket, different restaurants, stunning, large beach, all sport options.

We charge € 65 for final cleaning. Upon booking, a deposit of 30% of the rental price is to be transferred. The remaining amount is due 3 weeks before your arrival.   • For children an inflatable pool is available that can be positioned on the terrace.

Harbour promenade, strolling, shopping, bike and motorbike rental, boat trips, restaurants and an exciting night life in Cala Ratjada (ca. 10 minutes by car). Unrestricted possibilities for interesting day trips and hiking tours. Palma with its picturesque old town, exclusive shops and cultural offers can be reached within one hour by car. Ich habe zusammen mit meiner Frau und unserer fast 3 Jahre alten Tochter Anfang Oktober eine Woche in dieser herrlichen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Beschreibung der Vermieterin trifft in allen Punkten zu – und wird sogar noch durch den persönlichen und freundlichen Service übertroffen: Ob es das Sandspielzeug oder der Buggy für unsere Tochter war, stets stand uns die Vermieterin besonders kinderfreundlich zur Seite – ausgestattet und geübt durch die Besuche der eigenen Enkel. Im Berghang gebaut, bewohnt die Vermieterin das Haus im oberen Teil und konnte uns oft mit ihren persönlichen Dingen aushelfen, wenn Not am Mann war.
Besonders schön ist es, dass es sich um eine reine Wohngegend handelt, die üppig bewachsen und grün ist. Es gibt keinen Durchgangsverkehr, nur Anwohner fahren hier lang, und so ist es abends unglaublich still.
Diese ruhige Lage macht es aber nötig, dass man ein Auto hat. Und so erreicht man den touristischen Teil von Canyamel in wahrscheinlich weniger als fünf Minuten – um anschließend (oder nach anderen Ausflügen) wieder glücklich in sein Refugium zurückzukehren. :-)
Wir können die Villa Julia sehr empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt dort.

Erholsame Tage

Wir haben Ende September in der Villa Julia sehr erholsame Tage verbracht. Die Vermieterin ist äußerst nett und persönlich. Es kam uns vor, als wären wir bei einer guten Bekannten zu Besuch. Das Appartement ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und für zwei bis drei Personen völlig ausreichend. Die Einrichtung ist komfortabel und es ist alles vorhanden was man so benötigt.
In einem sehr schönen, verwunschenen Garten liegen die nicht einsehbaren Terrassen.
Dort bekamen wir auch ab und zu Besuch vom stolzen Hauskater der Vermieterin. Die Villa Julia liegt an einem Hang. Das Umfeld ist sehr ruhig. Sehr von Vorteil ist der Moskitoschutz an allen Fenstern.
Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig, da die Ortschaft Costa Canyamel ein reiner Wohnort ist.
Zum Einkaufen (Lidl, Eroski, Müller usw.) muss man nach Capdepera oder Cala Ratjada fahren. Im Ort Canyamel gibt es aber auch einige kleine Geschäfte, einen Bäcker und mehrere Restaurants. Der Strand in Canyamel ist klein und sauber. Er wird hauptsächlich von deutschen und Schweizern besucht.
Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ruhig, schön, freundlich

Wir haben drei Wochen im August 2009 in der Villa Julia gewohnt und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Appartment ist großzügig geschnitten, sehr hübsch eingerichtet und lässt unserer Ansicht nach keine Wünsche offen. Auch mit Kind ist man sehr gut versorgt, es gibt Gitterbett und Hochstuhl, unsere Tochter (1 Jahr) war die ganze Zeit quietschvergnügt.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, gibt Tipps was man in der Umgebung ansehen bzw. wo man gut einkaufen und essen gehen kann und bringt auch mal mallorquinische Spezialitäten wie Ensaymadas oder Coca vorbei.
Die beiden Terrassen sind super um draußen zu frühstücken oder am Abend bei einem Gläschen Wein zu sitzen.
Zum Steinstrand kann man zu Fuß in fünf Minuten gehen, zum Sandstrand ist es etwas weiter, mit dem Auto fünf Minuten.
Das ist vor allem in der Hochsaison jedoch aus unserer Sicht sogar ein Vorteil, weil man dadurch nichts vom Touristenrummel rund um die Hotels und Appartments in der Nähe des Sandstrands von Canyamel mitbekommt. In der Villa Julia hört man abends kein einziges Auto und keinen Lärm von Restaurants und Bars, nur die Grillen zirpen - herrlich!
Unbedingt notwendig ist ein Auto.
Wir können die Villa Julia jedenfals weiterempfehlen und werden bestimmt wieder einmal hinfahren.
