The apartment was completely restored in 2005 and is located in an antique townhouse in a group of houses close to the village center. It is made up of two floors on the first and second floors. Through a small hallway you will get to the light eat-in kitchen, which is located in front of the 14 m2 covered patio and has an unobstructed view of the panorama of the Era Valley. There you can enjoy the view year-round with a glass of wine and a good meal. On the same floor is another living room with a fireplace and a double bedroom. On the second floor you will find another bedroom and a bathroom. The apartment can house up to 7 people. The furnishing has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay, the character of the building was preserved in the furnishing. Nearby you will find a restaurant and a grocery store.

Chianni (287 m) is located in a spectacular panorama location in the Pisa Hills, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and forests and is well known for its rich mushrooms and chestnut trees. The hills nearby go up to 670 m. The average temperature during the summer is 22 C with a high of 38. The city has Etruscan origins and was disputed during the medieval times between Volterra, Pisa and Florence. The center of the village is well preserved and the population dedicates itself to handcrafts and farming, but also tourism. A swimming pool, tennis courts, a garden restaurant and other restaurants provide for your wellbeing. The area invites you to go on hikes and bike tours. Wine and olive oil can be tried and purchased directly on site by the producers. The geographic location is ideal for excursions to all of the important art cities in Tuscany.

Wir waren (2 Erw.) im August 09 für 8 Tage Gast in diesem wunderschönen Domizil. Die Angaben im Online-Insererat waren überaus korrekt angegeben (sehr sauber und gepflegt). Die Verständigung mit dem Vermieter war aufgrund unserer fehlenden Italienisch-Sprachkenntnisse etwas schwierig. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant in der Mitte von Chianni (sehr gutes Essen) - Le Vecchie Cantine - . Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Ausflugszielen: Florenz, Pisa, Volterra .... Alles in allem: Sehr zu empfehlen!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Eine tolle Wahl

Wir waren im Mai/Juni 2008 mit zwei Erwachsenen in dieser tollen Wohnung. Der Vermieter verspricht in seinem Inserat nicht zu viel. Die Wohnung ist in einem klasse Zustand, sehr sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und sehr bemüht, auch wenn die Unterhaltung aufgrund meiner minimalen Italienisch-Kenntnisse teilweise etwas schwierig war. Der Ausblick vom Balkon in das Tal ist atemberaubend und kommt auf dem Foto nicht ansatzweise an die Wirklichkeit heran. Man muß allerdings wissen, dass das Haus in einem recht kleinen Bergdorf liegt und daher ein eigenes Auto zwingend notwendig ist (auf Grund der teilweise recht engen Straßen besser kleiner als zu groß).
Wir werden gerne wieder dorthin fahren und die Wohnung auch gerne an Freunde/Verwandte weiterempfehlen. Kleiner Tip: Super und gleichzeitig preiswert kann man in der Pizzeria 543 am Eingang des Ortes essen.
Die Angaben im Inserat waren bis auf Kleinigkeiten sehr genau (wir haben z.B. die Fahrräder vermisst, aber auch nicht explizit danach gefragt). Dabei ist die Gegend besonders für Radsportler sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten lohnen sich Ausflüge nach Pisa, Florenz, Volterra, San Gimignano und Lucca.
